Crimson tears and violet smiles
eyes like a raging ocean
faded lips and broken eyes
remnants of a once perfect illusion
An illusion of bright eyes and smiles
of carefree laughs and happy eyes
an illusion now shattered
the pieces sprinkled all around
So clean away the broken illusion
and let me wrap you round me
tonight, two broken hearts will beat as one
and secrets will come undone
Tonight, cry all your sorrows away
save that smile for a brighter day
let me kiss those torn pieces away
let me take your worries today
Let me caress your hair
and heal your skin
let me set those burnt out eyes ablaze
and kiss all that scattered pain away
Tonight, I'll hold you firm
and bow to the crown of suffering
I'll love that hurt tonight
I'll love you tonight
