Take me back to the times
where everything was fine
take me back to the times
when I could call you mine
Take me back to the years
where there were no tears
take me back to the years
where, together, we battled our fears
Take me back to the days
when there was no pain
Oh, how I wish I could go back to the time
when I could call you mine
But today, we know only pain
today, the tears fall with no restrain
today, all the love is gone
now, all that we had is gone
and tonight, like all other nights
there are more cuts on our hearts
more tears fall down our faces
more screams which we wish we could emit
The days of bliss are done
the years of smiles are gone
all that we built is destroyed
all that we believed was false
So we wish, like each night
for one more day in those times
for one more smile in these weeks
while the tears slip down our cheeks.
