Antonio looked at (name) with a confused expression,
"What?"
"And I ain't getting down on one knee, or hiring a band, or serenading you, or any of that sappy bullshit."
Antonio looked even more confused. What was he going on about?
"Vale?"
"It's just gonna be us. No fancy shindig or anything, just something real simple. I'm not buying champagne and putting the ring inside just to say 'no, don't drink it!'. I'm not cringy."
A feeling of understanding washed over Antonio and he realised what (name) was trying to say.
"Of course, but I wouldn't drink the ring, amor. I don't think that's possible."
"I know that!"
They were both silent for a moment. (Name) then let out a sigh and held out his hand. Antonio grasped it firmly and smiled softly.
"I guess I'll just ask then."
(Name) opened his mouth to speak, but was quickly hushed with a kiss from Antonio.
"There's just one thing, amor; why are you so sure that you're asking me?"
(Name) gave Antonio a pointed look.
"Toni."
Antonio grinned at his lover.
"Will you marry me?"
(Name) looked at Antonio with a look of surprise. He thought for a moment, although as soon as the first word came out of Antonio's mouth he already knew his answer, before answering casually.
"Yeah, okay."
"Sí?"
"Sí."
The pair exchanged matching loving smiles before leaning in and sharing a tender kiss.
