Perhaps the sun won't dance
with the moon on its back
and the midnight clouds
like winged shrouds
anymoreFor you don't sing
since the stars won't shine
and the lonely winter nights
bring no better skiesDark tides they rise
on darker shores
and pull our dreams
in their coursePerhaps we'll never climb
with hope in our hearts
and reach up in time
to find where love startsBut still I will listen
and keep my eyes set
and search for your words
and our better songs yetThe dawn shall break wide
and these skies will break too
But perhaps we'll survive
to find something new(July 23rd, 2017)
