That game we had
you played so well
and though you won
you lost somehow
For the lucky dice
you rolled high
until the cards
were dealt
to you and I
And pieces moved
on a board you laid
You took all my pawns
and my knights away
But I saw the ace
up your sleeve
and the poker face
you showed me
Though you took me
for a fool
I still got
the best of you
My goal was never
to beat you at your game
but to win in secret
just by having you play
