submerge and emerge
Submerge again
Breathe in
And Hold
Breathe out
Breathe in
The edge of the all
consuming ocean
where we rise and fall
in life's motion
brings us in and out
and returns us to
those deeper moments
in oceans blue
As we restless, swim
through each dark night
weaving these days
into an endless fight
Emerging on shores
each morning
once more
to walk out
these wars
in the daylight
