*Y/n's POV*

Y/n couldn't believe how much time has past since the hybrids she raised turned human...no thanks to InGen...It was the middle of the day when Y/n decided to Skype call her mom to see how things are fairing for her. She turns on her laptop. She was about to log into Skype when Jade appears out of no where, startling Y/n.

"Whatcha doing?" Jade asks as she looks at the laptop with curiosity shinning in her eyes.

"I was about to Skype my mom to see how she is doing."

"Skype? What's that?" Jade looks over her mom's shoulder, watching the laptop screen.

"It's kinda like using a cellphone to call someone, but instead of just seeing a bit of their face when doing a video call, Skype allows you to see them more clearly." (Sorry about the bad explanation XD)

"Can I see?"

"Sure, sweetie. Just pull up a chair and I'll let you sit in on this call."

Jade squeals happily and runs out of the room. She comes back a few minutes later with one of the chairs from the kitchen. "Alright lets start this thing up!"

Y/n couldn't help but laugh at Jade's antics as she places her call. "Also just to let you know, try not to scare your grandmother by telling her you were once a dinosaur hybrid. I'll tell her, okay?"

"Alright. But can I have a turn to talk to Grandma?" Jade asks as she sits down in the chair she brought.

"You can." Y/n turns her attention back to the screen right as her mom's face appeared on screen. She smiles. "Hi Mom. How are things going for you back in the States?"

Mrs. L/n smiles and waves at her daughter. "Things are going well so far. It just started to snow today." She looks over to Y/n's left, seeing Jade smiling and waving at her. "Who's she? Is she one of your co-workers?"

Y/n sighs. "Mom grab a chair and sit down. I have a lot to explain." It takes nearly two hours for Y/n to explain the events that have happened to her since she started to work for InGen. But she made sure to explain in detail of what Project Hybrid and Project Prometheus has done to her life. While explaining everything, Y/n couldn't help but notice only slight worry appeared in her mom's eyes.

"So let me get this straight. You were unknowingly made a part of Project Prometheus, even though you were originally a part of Project Hybrid? Y/n what the hell have you gotten yourself into? Aren't you worried that InGen wire tapped your house and are listening in right now?"

Y/n laughs, startling her mom. "I'd like to see them try. Right now I'm the least of their worries. They are too busy to even bother with that since they are working on a new dinosaur. Plus Issac always checks for those kinds of things."

"Who's this Issac? You didn't tell me you had a boyfriend?" Mrs. L/n teases.

Y/n blushes. Her face turning red. "We've...we have been going out for the past few months. He helped me raise the hybrids." Y/n turns to Jade. "Jade go get your brothers." She watches Jade leave the room and head downstairs.

"So when am I going to meet the 'grandkids'?" Mrs. L/n teases again.

"Not really sure. Can't really find time to get away from the island. Plus I don't even think it's even possible to leave the island with them."

"Never say that something is impossible. It is possible. I'll help you out. So how many plane tickets are you going to need?"

"Including myself as well as Issac, we'll need at least seven tickets. Preferably I rather fly by private jet but in order to do that, will need to pull some strings."
"Dont take a private jet. Even with your status with InGen, that may raise suspicion against yourself. I suggest fly second class. Plus tickets will be a little cheaper since you'll be flying during the winter." Jade come into the room with Tidus, Atlas, Ultima, and Vincent. Y/n moves out of the way so her mom can see them.

"Oh my. Looks like you have your hands full raising a bunch of teenagers."

Ultima steps up to the laptop. He had to lean down to get a good look at Y/n's mom. "Mom doesn't have much trouble raising us, ma'am," said Ultima.

"Excuse me!" Atlas snaps. "You're the one who always argues on what to eat for dinner every night!" Soon enough the others were involved in the argument.

Y/n rubs her temples. "I have it...." She turns around and turns her attention to her 'kids'. "TAKE A CHILL PILL AND RELAX!!" Y/n yells her 'kids' at the top her lungs. Vincent and the others quiet down. Y/n turns back to the laptop. "I will admit, it is a little hard to deal with them sometimes. But I still love them."

"Why don't you come back to the States for a bit. I'm sure you'll love a break from the island. So how many plane tickets are you going to need?"

"It would be best if we get a private jet. I'd rather not cause a scene at the airport."

"Not a good idea. It would be best to fly second class," said Mrs. L/n. "Now how many tickets are you going to need?"

"At least seven. I plan on bringing Issac with. Now how do you expect me to get the time off?"

"Just leave that to me," said Mrs. L/n with a smirk.

*Tidus POV*

'Two  weeks have gone by and turns out that grandma is pretty clever.' Tidus thinks to himself as he finishes packing. 'All it had taken a homemade..." Tidus pauses in thought. 'Something called a fruitcake that grandma had promised Mr. Wu.' Tidus laughs as he closes his suitcase. He was kinda nervous about leaving the island and heading to the United States. He head out of his room. He head downstairs and outside to Y/n's truck. He couldn't help but wonder what it would be like, even it was a short while, to live off of the island. Jade shortly after comes running outside. "Hey Tidus! Think we'll see snow once we get to North Dakota?" Jade asks as she tosses her her suitcase in the back of the truck.

"Maybe. I'm hoping to see the Aurora Borealis."

"I'm just glad we finally get off this island. It's rather boring when you have explored the entire island."

Tidus gives Jade a confused look. "How did you do that?"

"Well it turns out that Project Prometheus has a flaw. It didn't get rid of all of our traits from when we were still hybrids. What I mean is that we still retain what made us different."

Tidus was still confused about what Jade was saying. He shakes his head. "I better make sure that Ultima is ready. Atlas and Vincent should be here shortly." He reaches down and grabs a handful of pebbles and starts tossing them at Ultima's bedroom window. "Hey Ultima!" Tidus yells.

Ultima opens his bedroom window. "What is it!" Ultima yells.

"Finish packing. Mom needs us to leave soon!"

Ultima ducks back into his room. After a few minutes he tosses his suitcase out of the window, right out onto the slanted roof of the house. He climbs out of his bedroom window and and shut it. "Think I can make it to the truck?" He smirks.

""You could but considering your strength...you could end up putting a dent into the truck bed."

Ultima shrugs his shoulders. "Good point but..." He steps to the edge of the roof and jumps down. "But I am not holding back when we have our first snowball fight."

Tidus growls and stares Ultima down. "Sounds like a threat."

"It's a promise." Ultima stares down Tidus.

*Y/n POV*

Y/n walks up to Ultima and grabs him by the ear. "Both of you calm down now." She grabs Tidus' ear as well. Tidus and Ultima flinch in pain. "No one will have a snow slaughter-fest while we are in North Dakota. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes ma'am," said both Ultima and Tidus.

Y/n let's go of Ultima's and Tidus' ears. "Now we have to leave now we need to go meet Issac, Vincent, and Atlas at the docks. It's going to take a bit to get to the United States, so don't complain about being bored, alright?" Y/n smiles and ruffles Tidus' and Ultima's hair.
