Trouble

*Issac's POV *

Issac wakes up the next morning, Y/n was still asleep. After the night they had last night, she needed her rest. He leans over and kisses Y/n on her head before getting out of the bed. He heads into the bathroom and takes a shower. By the time he was done, Y/n was up. He heads out of the bathroom. "Morning, Y/n."

"Morning, Issac." Y/n changes into a pair of blue Jean's and a t-shirt with the Darksiders logo on it. "Are we staying here another night?" Y/n asks.

"We do have another night here to spend but if you'd rather head home, I can go cancel our..."

"I was just wondering. That is all, Issac. But I would like to go see the Redwood Forests while we are here. Get dressed so we can go."

Issac smirks. "We can go another round if you want."

"Later, Issac. I just want to go see the sights today," said Y/n. She puts on her tennis shoes and grabs her jacket. "I'll wait for you get dressed."

Issac finished drying himself off and gets dressed. "So to the Redwood Forests then?"

"Yes. I've always wanted to see them ever since I was a kid," said Y/n with a smile. She leaves the room and heads downstairs and waits in the hotel lobby for Issac. When she sees him coming downstairs with their luggage, her smile quickly turns to a frown.

"Go wait outside while I get us checked out," said Issac.

"Okay then...." Y/n goes to wait outside. A few minutes later, Issac comes outside. "So what happened then?"

"Just help me load the luggage into the SUV and I'll explain on the way back to the Mannor," said Issac. After helping Y/n load the luggage and leaving the hotel, it was about a forty-fivenminute drive of silence before Issac pulls over to the side of the road. Y/n was about to talk to him when he puts a finger to his lips, signaling her to be quiet. He motions for her to get out of the car and then proceeded to tear though the car, looking for something. About ten minutes later, he walks up to Y/n and shows her a small device. He walks a way away from the road before returning to Y/n. "Someone bugged our car."

"So that explains everything. So what excuse did you use to get us checked out?"

"I told the receptionist that we just got a call from my father about a death in the family and it worked. As for the awkward silence up til now, kinda had a feeling something was off ever since you ran into that one guy at the pool yesturday."

"Now that you mention it, it felt weird at how he kept asking me if I wanted a drink." Y/n walks back to the car. Issac follows.

"Most likely the drink he was going to 'buy' for you was going to be drugged with something...." Issac was about to get back into the car when he notices two black SUVs speeding towards them. He quickly opens the drivers side door and grabs a bag that he had hidden beneath the seat. He tosses it to Y/n. "Dont worry about me. Just run. Seems like InGen didn't like the fact we tried to get away..." Issac quickly climbs back into their SUV, starts it up, and quickly speeds off the other direction, hoping to lead whoever is chasing away from them, away from Y/n.

*Y/n's POV*

Y/n takes off running into the woods, with the bag that Issac had given to her, swung over her shoulder. She had to figure out a way to get back to Lockwood Manor, even with InGen chasing after her. At least back at the Manor she would have plenty of back-up to a sense even though it would be just Ultima and Atlas and possibly Terra the Carnotsaurus to fight for her. But even Y/n knew it would be best to keep Terra out of their conflict. Y/n stops running only long enough to check what was in the bag that Issac had given her. She unzips the bag and inside it was a crossbow and some crossbow bolts. She kinda laughs. "At least Issac remembers I don't like to use guns against someone." She takes the crossbow out of the bag and loads a bolt onto the mechanism. She securely straps the bolts into a holster onto her right hum, for quick access. Even though the crossbow was slow to reload, it was effective enough to use again her pursuers. She takes off running again, going deeper into the forest and decides to take a bit of time to use mud and dirt to camouflage herself and prepare herself for the ensuing fight with whoever InGen had sent to retrieve her for who knows what godawful experiments that had in store for her.

After what seems like an eternity has passed, sure enough, two armed men make their way though the thicket and underbrush, unbeknownst to them, they were about to fall into an ambush. Y/n fire the first bolt and tries to quickly reload the second bolt, as the first one embeds itself into one of the men, right into one of his eyes. Y/n stays quiet as the second man watches in horror as his partner falls to the ground dead. The man raises his rifle in the direction as to where he assumes the bolt was fired from. From where Y/n was hiding, she could tell that the man was beginning to panic. When you panic, you lose focus. When you lose focus...you make mistakes and sure enough the man does make a mistake. He turns to reach down to grab his partners rifle and that is when Y/n fired the second bolt, ready to reload a third. The bolt embeds itself into the man's shoulder and he cries out in pain. He falls over to the ground. Y/n carefully makes her way to the man, making her footsteps as silent as possible. The man was about to get up when he feels the crossbow pushed up against the back of his neck. "Pretty impressive....didn't even know where you were..." The man was breathing heavily, trying to keep his hand on his shoulder to stop his blood from pouring out of the wound.

"Did InGen send you?" Y/n asks.

"Yeah...we have orders to being you back to the island..." the guy laughs. "Apparently you are going to be a part of a very special project. Henry Wu himself requested us to being you in alive and unharmed, of course."

"Henry Wu is dead." Y/n could feel rage building up inside her at this man mentioning Henry Wu's name.

The guy laughs. "If only you knew brat. As of right now, more men are on their way to this location. Little did you know we had trackers on us so we can find you."

"Any last words before I kill you?"

"Yeah. Just want you to let you know Issac was a fool thinking he could lead us away from you. But pretty clever to give you a cross bow. But..."

Y/n didn't even let the guy finish talking before she puts a crossbow bolt through his neck. She stands up straight and looks around. Sure enough she was surrounded by twenty armed men, all armed with tranquilizer rifles. Y/n drops the crossbow to the ground and kicks it away, knowing she had to accept defeat. Two of the armed men approached her and handcuff her. One of them pulls out a walkie-talkie.

"We got Y/n. She managed to kill to of our men with a crossbow..." a garbled voice is heard on the other end of the walkie-talkie. "How the hell am I supposed to know who gave her a crossbow?!" He puts the walkie-talkie away. "Pretty clever trying to get away from us. Now we have to take you away to one of the labs."

"Isla Sorna is a long way away from her," said Y/n.

"Who said anything about Isla Sorna. InGen has other labs that even the lab workers on the islands don't know about." He pushed Y/n forward, forcing her to walk ahead.

It was at that point that Y/n knew she was really in trouble. "Issac better come find me," she thinks to herself as she is lead away.
