Y/n manages to kill two more guards while following Cain towards the entrance to the compound. She looks ahead and almost runs smack-dab into Cain, who had suddenly stopped. "Hey, Cain? Is something up?"
Cain lifts his nose to the air, picking up a scent. He looks towards his right and suddenly growls. He takes off running down the hallway to his right.
"Hey wait up Cain! You still need me to get out of here!" Y/n runs after Cain and managed to grab a hold of his tail. "If you do not stop I am going to turn you into a belt!" Y/n threatens.
Cain ignores Y/n's threat and continues down the hallway, dragging Y/n along. He eventually stops in front of a set of steel doors. "Someone is in there...compelling me to follow..."
"What do you mean?" Y/n asks.
"Can't you smell or hear it?"
Y/n shakes her head. "I can't smell or hear what you are sensing. My senses are not as good as yours."
Cain opens the door and growls. In the rather large room were cages covered in blankets. Roars and growls can be heard coming from within. Standing in the middle of the room was once of the head scientists, who had some who managed to avoid the carnage.
"So good of you to join us, Cain and Y/n. I'm rather disappointed in you two. Starting a coupe in this facility. So tell me, who really was the mastermind behind this riot?"
"Not going to tell you anything, James!" Cain snaps and growls, reading himself for the next kill.
Y/n puts her hand on Cain's arm. "Think before you act."
"I am! I'm planning out how to end this bastard's life!"
"You are not seeing what is in front of you. Look what he has in his hands." Y/n points at what the scientist, James, was holding. He was holding a pulse rifle with a couple extra attachments.
"At least someone is smart enough to see what is in front of your eyes." James pulls out an remote from one of the pockets in his lab coat. He pushes one of the buttons on the remote. Two of the cages open up. Out of one of the cages walks out was a juvenile Thrasher Rex and a juvenile Omega Rex.
