Project Hybrid: File #3 Paradeinonychus

*Zack's POV*

Zack takes a before watching the next DVD and heads into the kitchen to get something to eat. He was surprised to see that Jade was in the kitchen. "Hi, Jade," said Zack.

Jade turns and smiles at Zack. "So what do you think of the DVDs my mom made of Project Hybrid?" Jade asks.

"Not what I had thought that InGen would have created. I'm surprise that they created hybrids instead of just trying to make money off of the dinosaurs with the theme park."

"Besides trying to make a theme park to make money from the dinosaurs, they also tried to weaponized them as well. Look at what happened to Jurrassic World." Jade goes over to the fridge and opens it. "Hungry?"

"Yeah kinda. I haven't had anything to eat since the apple your grandmother gave me to eat a while ago. So when's dinner?" He tilts his head towards the pot on the stove that was cooking thr stew.

Jade shrugs her shoulders. She pulls out balogna, cheese, and a jar of mayo from the fridge. She walks over to the counter. "From the smell, the stew won't be ready until later."

Zack gives Jade a confused look. "How can you tell? Also which hybrid are you?" Zack asks.

Jade smirks. "You'll find out by watching the videos. Now go finish them and I'll bring you your sandwich." She shoos Zack out of the kitchen.

Zack goes and sits back down in the recliner and puts the third DVD into the laptop. It was labeled "Project Hybrid: File 3 Paradeinonychus a.k.a Vincent". Zack clicks the play button.

A mad scramble was heard before the image comes into focus. Issac appears on the screen. "Hello. Issac here. Y/n is sick again so I'll be recording the video of the Paradeinonychus, which just hatched the other day." The camera pans down to the floor where a small Paradeinonychus was looking at Issac. "Say hello, Vincent."

The Paradeinonychus tries to jump up at the camera and take a bite out of it, squeaking in anger.

Issac laughs at Vincent's antics. "I'll get you something to eat. The question is what to feed you." Issac clicks his tongue at Vincent to get his attention. "Follow me."

The camera shuts off. After about ten minutes the camera image reappears on the laptop and laughter can be heard coming off camera from Issac. The image comes into focus. Standing in front of the camera was Y/n. She was soaking wet and she had a towel wrapped around her body. She wasn't very happy. "Get Vincent out of the bathroom if you will!" She points to the closed bathroom door. "I cant finish my bath while he's in there."

"So what happened?" Issac asks.

"I busy taking a bath when I heard the door handle jiggling. Next thing I know, in walks Vincent. He looks around, sniffing the soaps, before he decides to get into the bath with me. I had to get out before he had taken over the tub."

Issac laughs. "You didn't have a problem when he slept by your head at night."

"That was when he was a hatchling. He's nearly fully grown and I don't want things to get out of hand with him.

"You do have a point. Rather not have him see you as a mate later on in life. We'd rather have you been seen as mom." He sighs. "Give me a minute and I'll get Vincent out of the bath." Issac opens the bathroom door and finds Vincent in the bath. But what surprised Issac was that it was a bubble bath that Y/n was taking before she was so rudely evicted from the bath.

Vincent chortled at Issac. Issac gives Vincent a stern look. "Vincent go back outside. Your mom needs to finish her bath," said Issac. Vincent chortled then snorts at Issac. "I don't care if you do. Now get out of the bath tub!!" Issac snaps. Vincent struggles a bit to get out of the tub, Issac helps him out to lessen the risk of a bad fall from an awkward spot. Vincent leaves the bathroom, still covered in bubbles here and there on his body. He looks at Y/n, making a thrilling sound. Y/n pets him on his nose. "I love you, alright? But don't do that again, Vincent." She watches Vincent head downstairs. She was caught by surprise when she hears the front door open. "I didn't know he could do that," said Y/n.

"Do you want me to dino-proof all the doors so this little incident doesn't happen again?"

"No, Issac. We don't need to." Y/n heads back into the bathroom and shuts the door.

"You know I can...."

"No, Issac. I'm good!" Y/n snaps.

Issac chuckles. "Well at least I tried."

The camera feed turns to black again. It takes about five minutes before the camera feed turns back on again. This time it shows that Issac and Y/n were in a basement. In the center of the basement was a table with a near fully-grown Vincent. He had part of his is tail bitten off and his snot and back were covered in bloody gashes. He was thrashing about, trying to break his restraints while Y/n was seeing up his tail. "Hold the duck still or I am going to knock your ass out, Vincent!" Y/n snaps. "You are a fool to challenge Tidus. You could have gotten yourself killed!" She finishes suturing up Vincent's tail and walks around the table to work on the gashes in his back. "Do you have any idea as to how scared I was when Issac told me you got into a fight with Tidus?" Vincent continues to struggle against the restraints, trying to break free. Once Y/n was finished with Vincent's back, she moved to work on his nose. Vincent forcefully pulled at the bindings that kept his mouth closed, breaking them. He bites down on Y/n's arm, catching her off guard.

Y/n looks Vincenr dead in the eye. "Let go of me, now," said Y/n in a low threatening tone. Vincent growls at her, trying to make himself more threatening. After what seemed like an eternity before he lets go of Y/n's arm. He looks at her arm, looking at where he bitten her. He licks the bite wound, trying to tell her he was sorry. "Its okay. Just don't get into another fight with Vincent again, okay?" She pets Vincent on his head. "Now let me clean the wound you gave me then I'll finish fixing you up. We both don't want an infection." Y/n walks over to the camera and shuts it off. The camera feed fades to black.

Zack takes the DVD out of the disk drive and looks for the last DVD. He finds it and sees the label on it. It said "Project Hybrid: File #4 Hybrids and More". He thought it was strange over the fact that the last two hybrids were listed on the same DVD. "Alright then. Let's learn more about Jade and Atlas," said Zack to himself. Even thought he went admit it yet, he was more curious about Jade. He wanted to wait to tell her but he did have a slight crush on her.
