Darsa flung open the large flap to her tent with Rowan still in tow. Once they were inside she let her go and faced her, arms crossed.

Rowan mirrored her stance and remained silent. She was dumbfounded that her cousin was the first one who brought up their quarrel as Rowan was the one to usually give in.

Darsa wasted no time and sighed dramatically, "I know I haven't been around much recently and that I've been spending my time with Horan, and I realize how that must make you feel so I would like to say sorry on my part. If you'd like, I will explain why I have been acting in such a manner, but once I do I will not apologize for it no matter how you feel." Rowan blinked at her, perplexed at why she would say such a thing.

She gave a curt nod, signaling for her cousin to continue.

Darsa bit her lip, unsure if she was making the right decision. She knew that Rowan would find out eventually but she didn't want her to be told like this. She hope that she would understand herself has she and Bjorn furthered their relationship.

Originally she was just going to let time pass to heal the wounds each gave one another with their words at the creek, but when she and Horan had finished making love during the rain storm she realized that her cousin to needed to know about their relationship soon.

Darsa took one deep breath as she collected the few bits of courage needed, "It all started with the bear I suppose. I believed that we would both die, and just when I thought there was no hope Bjorn and Horan crashed through the trees and I had never seen such a glorious sight. After the behemoth was dead and Horan had me in his arms, I realized just how safe he made me feel," she paused, trying to collect her thoughts. As she did so, Rowan understood because she too had felt the same each time Bjorn's arms were around her.

"He was no longer the goofy and joking man I had first met and from then on I couldn't help but see him in a new light. Once we left Ubba's tent we went back to our own and he applied my medicine for me and his touch just.....it did something to me," she said. Again Rowan understood, for each time Bjorn's soft fingers ran across her she would feel frivolous almost.

"That night as I lay in bed I couldn't help but replay the events over and over in my head and I began to cry," she said disgusted, because the Daughters of the Glade hardly ever cried for they thought it was a sign of weakness, "I thought Horan was asleep beside me but he heard me sniffling I guess. When he realized I was crying he didn't look down on me or scold me for being soft. Instead he scooped me up in his arms and held me tightly against his chest all night long until I could cry no more. Just as I fell asleep on him I heard him tell me that he was never going to let anything happen to my ever again. I know we usually can handle ourselves but his words brought me peace and comfort in a way I had never felt before. The next morning as he applied my medicine again we....we shared a kiss. Again it brought on feelings I have never felt before. One thing led to another and we ended up coming to know one another in the intimate sense," she finished, blushing as she recalled the precious memory.

Rowan a knot in her through as she tried to swallowed. So many emotions rushed through her she didn't even know which to handle first.

At first she felt as if she could now piece together why her cousin had been acting in such a manner. It all made sense! To the blushing every time she looked at Horan to her lack presence in the camp. She felt jealous that she had became so close with Horan and hadn't had time for her own cousin. She was also happy for her cousin because she knew Horan had made her happy. She could see it in the way Darsa carried herself around the camp, she was always smiling and joking when before she practically scowled at any man who looked her way. Rowan was also curious because she too wanted to experience it with Bjorn. And lastly a small part of her felt betrayed deep down because even though she was supposed to go to bed with Horan he was still their enemy.
