This guy was rather interesting to Mei. It was surprising that there was someone in this land who wore tanned skin as though it were 'beautiful'. Mei thought it was and didn't think there was anything wrong with being tan but in this type of world having tanned skin meant a lower status.

"What's your name," Mei asked, curious about this man. From the Qi she could feel he used he was almost to the 3rd Stage. After thinking about it though, she realized why he was merely a boatman instead of finding better work.

"Kai, Miss." There was nothing else added. Just exactly what Mei had asked for, nothing else.

He continued navigating the waterways. It would take them at least an hour to get to the school through these waters.

"My name is Mei and this is Senri. I'm rather curious. Do you like working as a boatman?"

The boat shifted a bit as though it was unstable, before it went back to being smooth

Across from Mei, the boatman, had a smile on his face as if nothing transpired. "With merely a water element for Cultivation, there's nothing else I can do."

"Wrong."

Senri was staring at his Miss speaking with the weird boatman and didn't understand what her purpose was.

"If you want to avoid the fate that's been pushed on you;  show up to the Yang Household at the outskirts of town within 4 days."

Mei then turned away to look at the passing scenery; not even waiting for his response. Kai didn't take it to heart but instead renewed the Qi he was using, ensuring the boat picked up speed.

He began to mull over what she had said and couldn't help being curious. Was there really a way to change his fate. Everyone knew that having Water Elemental Qi was next to useless. Although you could cultivate it, it was just too soft. No one had ever even been capable of using it to strengthen their muscles before, aside from Cultivators from Ancient Times.

When they finally reached their destination, Kai helped Mei off the boat. "Miss Mei, I shall visit in 4 days time during high noon to your Yang Household."

He gave a pretty bow and Mei simply nodded her head in acceptance before turning to walk the stoned pathway that headed towards a large castle structure. This was the school which had a main structure but branched off to the large mountains situated behind it. Of course these were separated by the waterways and a large wall to ensure safety for the students. On the mountains were certain teachers residences where they took in disciples to train heavily.

Mei attended the regular enrollment due to her never excelling in cultivating previously. She didn't mind though. Even if she were to be given less cultivating resources; she'd just procure them herself. Many medicinal plants were left untended because the Medicinal Practitioners here were less advanced; not having knowledge to classify all of them.

"Miss, your classes don't start for a few more hours. Should we make our way towards your room?"

Every student had temporary residence here during school days. It made it more convenient for those children who lived further away from school.

"Yes," she responded as her eyes surveyed their surroundings. A few students had stopped to stare at the two beautiful women who'd just arrived.

Some of the male's eyes begun to fill with lust at the two. There were a few who had looks of confusion as if trying to figure out why the girl with pink hair seemed so familiar. They felt that they'd have remembered such an enchanting beauty though so they shrugged off the feeling.

Senri followed closely behind Mei as they walked through open and closed corridors. Walls that were built using strong Earth Qi fluctuated with power. Protective enchantments were carefully placed on the floors and walls, giving the School more protection.

Before they could make it towards the room Mei always stayed in, a group of people blocked their path.

Mei raised an eyebrow at the group of females. With one glance she knew who it was. Sakura and her groupies of hate.

"So you survived that, did you? Of course this waste had such good luck. Or maybe you used your body like a courtesan. That I would believe of a filthy tramp such as you," Sakura snarled viciously.
Mei realized that where they were was rather secluded and so Sakura had let slip her mask of a woman removed from worldly problems.

"Are you finished," Mei drawled offhandedly, "I'd like to return to my rooms if it's all the same."

Mei went to walk around the group of harping bugs with Senri in tow.

Before she could pass the group, one of the girls lunged to grab her arm. Unfortunately for her, this was no longer the Mei that they had previously bullied often. Mei slipped out of reach before appearing suddenly next to the outstretched hand. Her own hand reached swiftly towards it before adding a bit of pressure at the joint where the elbow lay. It was a rather soft location and was very easy to break if you knew how.

SNAP

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!" The girl fell to the ground clutching her twisted arm which now had a bone sticking through the skin.

"What do you think you're doing?!"

"Really? I was defending myself. Do you have a problem with that," as she finished her question she allowed the killing intent to fill her. It almost felt like it had a mind of it's own as it lashed out towards the annoying chit.

"Don't think this is over, trash!"

Sakura told some of the girls to help the injured one up and take her to the medical room. Mei ignored them and went back to heading towards her room.

As soon as Sakura left with her group she couldn't hold the violent anger in anymore and turned to one of the girls closest to her before slapping her across the face. The younger female fell to the ground with blood filling her mouth. She looked at Sakura with anger for taking out her problems on the other.

"Who does she think she is?! That damn slut! This time I'll definitely kill her. Since the last time was unsuccessful then the next time I'll just do it myself."

"Why'd you hit me?"

Sakura finally focused on the female she'd injured but merely scowled out her before giving a 'hmmph' and turning away from the group. She left them to their own devices because there were things she needed to do in order to remove this girl who plagued her life.

"She's only a level 3 in Stage 1 so there's no way she'd win if I were to challenge her on the Death Duel Stage." She began to laugh almost maniacally but caught herself when she realized there were other students walking around the hallways she was now walking on.

"We'll see how many lives you have, Whore."
