After half an hour, a sorcerer appeared out of nowhere.

"I have a truce proposal coming from my king." He announced.

"Where is Cassia? I knew it. She can't be trusted." Agnus accused furiously.

"Your matter with her is seperate with mine. I was sent on her behalf to finish the agenda of this meeting. She's still engaged in a conversation with his majesty as we speak."

"What is it that you want?" Ronheild demanded while both Daphne and Amelia were busy confining Venus in place who was itching to jump at the sorcerer.

"I have a bargain in exchange for the freedom of all the hostages and their realms."

"What kind of bargain is worth all of that?" Vulca broke her silence at last while Rufus put his hand in n Agnus' shoulder and pressed it reassuringly. The later gave him a thankful nod in return.

"Opaque Temple. Order it to serve my master and you shall save all the fallen realms." The sorcerer spoke looking directly at Venus.

"That's impossible and outright ridiculous," Pearl walked forward reigning her anger.

"Is it? Or you're just scared of what it could give to my king. Isn't that right, Angelicum?" The sorcerer mocked. His facial expression resembled a madman—evil and demented.

"So it seemed that Veron finally found a way to break free from his prison." Sylvie confirmed the unspeakable truth behind the bargain. Beneath her hood, her upper lip curled in disdain.

The sorcerer shot a smug expression at Sylvie's direction but remained silent—waiting patiently for Vee's response.

"The decision is yours alone, Venuscha." Hadraniel told Venus after a few moments of silence. He expected as much from the sorcerers.

"What do I do?" Vee pleaded with him instead. She was confused and torn in between. She shouldn't give up the Temple at the same time she couldn't let all of the hostages die. Their blood would be in her hands.

"Do what you think is right, the Temple has served its purpose. You already have the crystal portal. Besides, you will always be the Temple's mistress and queen. Nothing and no one can take that away from you." Pearl's voice invaded her mind as they looked at each other meaningfully.

"How can I be sure that I won't be double crossed?" Venus expressed her doubts and mistrust openly.

"We will never betray you, our princess. The King have high hopes and plans for you. We all believe that you shall come to us later. We are your people, your real family." The man spoke with such intensity and loyalty that made Venus cringe.

"And if I disagree?" She challenged.

"This meeting was called to give you a chance for a truce. At least, until you find a way to stop the army of Angelicums."

"Your Lordship started this and you want me to clean your mess?" Venus scorned.

"You won't have a choice. The portals of all realms are tampered close, meaning, only Phoenicians have the access to go in and out. The only problem is, the Sorcerers inside the realms also knows another way to open it up by force. All they have to do is suck the life source out of everyone to create enough power to regenerate it and eventually destroy the realms itself. Your decision, your choice princess. Everything may fall apart anyway so why don't we all go with a blast." His voice was laced with craziness matching a bloodthirsty facial expression.
