HARRY’S P.O.V.

“Ladies first,” I said smiling and opening the front door to our house. Maya stepped inside and I closed the door behind me. I put the bag I was holding on the front hall table, trying not to make too much noise. None of the lights were on in the house except for the two lamps in the living room. Maya spun around and faced me tilting her head a little bit.

“Thanks again for dinner,” she said as I stepped up to her. I seriously could not resist her sometimes. There was something about her big brown eyes and they way her lips moved when she was talking… She wrapped her arms around my neck and I put my hands on her waist.

“Anytime love,” I said quietly, trying not to ruin the silence.  She closed her eyes and I took the chance to press my lips against hers. She leaned back a little bit.

“Mmm… I love you so much Harry,” she mumbled. I felt my heartbeat start to speed up as she started running her hands through my hair. I put my forehead on hers. “Did you happen to bring home any chocolate?” she whispered. The two of us had gone to a chocolate shop a couple towns over and I made sure I bought some to bring home. It was just something that I had to do. Maybe I’d get lucky tonight.

I smiled at her and kissed her again, “Yes… yes I did,” I replied pulling her closer to me, hoping she was thinking the same thing I was.

“Good… we can have some tomorrow then…” she whispered.

“Tomorrow? Why not now, love,” I said on her lips.

            “Because it’s too late…”

“No, no, no, it’s never too late Maya,” I whispered, “Never ever too late.”

She smiled and I kissed her again, “Fine,” she gave in.  I stepped back from her and took the box of chocolates out of the white plastic bag. Maya’s hand found mine and I led her into the living room. We sat on the big couch together and she sat cross legged facing me. I put the chocolates between us. I took my shoes off and put one knee underneath me on the couch. I felt her eyes on me as I opened the box of chocolates.

I looked up at her once and then back down at the box in front of us. She smiled as I took one out. She closed her eyes and opened her mouth. I slowly placed it on her tongue and she smiled as she ate it.

            “Good?” I asked quietly.

            She nodded, “Very.”

            “What flavor was it?”

She closed her mouth and looked to the side, “Some sort of coffee…”

I nodded smiling at her. Maya loved her coffee. I kissed her quickly, loving the feel of her lips on mine. She picked one out and did the same for me, giggling a little bit.
