                                                                  A WEEK LATER

It was one of those rare times when Harry and I were actually yelling at each other. I know we never tried to get mad at each other after what happened a year or so ago, but I just completely snapped.

We were standing in the middle of the kitchen, facing each other and just yelling at one another. I wasn’t even sure what exactly we were yelling at each other about. But, something happened and it got me angry.

“Just don’t even talk to me!” I yelled and I stormed out of the kitchen and into the foyer, running upstairs without another word. I slammed the door to our room shut and pressed myself against it. I should be alone for a good half hour now…

HARRY’S P.O.V.

            It’s only her hormones… it’s only her hormones… she can’t control herself…

I let out an exasperated groan and ran my hands through my curls. I stopped and listened to the unusually silent house. I hated when it was this quiet. It just wasn’t normal.

I laid down on the couch in the living room and closed my eyes, running my hands through my hair and over my face. I didn’t expect all this to be so stressful. I hated yelling at Maya when I really didn’t mean to. I hated knowing that she was probably crying upstairs.

I waited for probably around half an hour, giving us space. When I felt the time was right, I stood up and made my way upstairs.

“Maya?” I asked, knocking on our door.

“What?” she replied, but it sounded muffled.

“Can I come in?” I asked. No response. I took that as a yes and opened the door, finding her in bed, under the covers. I smiled sympathetically at her, but she didn’t see me; she was turned the other way around in bed.

I slipped under the sheets on my side of the bed. She didn’t look at me. I smiled at her and pulled some hair behind her ear. I continued playing with her hair before her hand grabbed my wrist and put it on the bed, somewhat hastily. I exhaled and moved closer to her.

“Come on Maya, can you find it in your heart to forgive me? I didn’t mean to yell at you… I love you, I’m sorry…”

She turned over so that she wasn’t facing me.

“I love you,” I whispered, pressing my body against hers and moving her hair out of the way so I could kiss her neck. “And I know you love it when I’m this close to you…”

“No,” she protested flatly. I smirked and kissed her neck once, then pulled away.

“Yes you do… I can see your morale crumbling…”

“Harry I’m not in a good mood…”

“I can make you in a good mood…” I smirked a little bit and kissed her collarbone now. I could tell she was slowly starting to give in. “Just one kiss…”
