Chapter 69

hello everyone :) how are you all?? sorry again for the slow upload.... i just.... yeah there's this thing called homework and then cross country that literally wears me out. sorry :( SO these next few chapters are going to skip a lot... like months at a time cuz i want to move the story along and stuff :) yerp! soooo i hope you all like it!!! and i hope it's worth the wait :( okay byeeee <3

ONE AND A HALF MONTHS LATER - HARRY’S P.O.V.

            I woke up with Maya half on top of me under the covers. I smiled at her peacefully sleeping with her head rested on my bare collarbone. I smoothed out her hair and pushed some of it to the side. I kissed the top of her head a couple times. I really didn’t want to get out of bed, but we had something very important to do today.

            Today was Maya’s first ultrasound since she was starting to show already. I was so excited to take her because today was the day when we were going to find out whether it was a boy or a girl.

            Maya’s eyes slowly opened and she looked up at me sleepily.

            “Good morning my love,” I smiled at her and she rolled over to her side of the bed, pulling the sheets up to her chin and squeezing her eyes shut.

            I slowly moved closer to her and wrapped my arms around her waist.

            “It’s time to wake up,” I whispered in her ear, trying to get as annoyingly close as I possibly could.

            “I’m trying to sleep Harry,” she mumbled as I noisily kissed the side of her neck.

            “And you have to go to the doctor’s today missy…”

            “But that’s not until later,” Maya muttered under her breath, pulling the sheets up even higher.

            “No, it’s soon, and you need to get your cute little butt out of bed…”

            “Five more minutes, Harry…”

            I wrapped her up tighter in my arms, “Five more minutes Harry…” I imitated her voice as best I could and she turned over in my arms, nuzzling her nose into my chest. “Come on Maya, we’re going to find out whether we’ll be having a boy or a girl!”

            I felt her legs wrap around mine as she pulled herself closer to me. “Why are you so warm?” she mumbled happily.

            “Why are you still sleeping?” I asked, holding onto her while I threw the sheets off the two of us. I slowly inched to the side of the bed while Maya was still holding onto me. “I’m going to take a shower, love…”

            My wife reluctantly let go of me and curled back up under the sheets.

            “I’m giving you fifteen more minutes. When I’m done, I’m waking you up, okay?” I sat on the side of the bed with Maya lying down behind me. She nodded and I kissed her cheek softly before I got up to start getting ready.

            While I was in the shower, I heard the bathroom door open and I turned to find Maya starting to brush her teeth. I didn’t say anything and continued to wash myself, standing under the warm water when I was done.

            “Harry?” Maya asked from behind me, making me jump a mile.

            “Jesus Christ Maya!” I exclaimed, turned around to face my wife.
