Chapter 2

Your Pov

Some sounds of drilling and hammering woke me up from my deep (but uncomfortable) sleep.

Annoyed, I slowly sat up and groaned loudly.

"Who the f is drilling at-" I paused as I checked the time on my phone, "1 in the morning!?"

"And why hasn't anyone else complained yet?" I thought.

I stood up and headed out the door, wanting to give that noisy bish a tongue lashing.

I stepped out of my apartment and headed towards that new next door neighbour's house, since those drilling and hammering sounds came from there. I rang the bell and the sounds of drilling stopped. Light footsteps were heard and the door swings open.

"Hey I-" Before I could say another word, he shut the door in my face. "What the-"

Suddenly, he opened it again, "If your here to tell me off on how noisy I am, I'm sorry. But I can't stop yet. Just plug in some headphones when your sleeping or something." And with that, he shut the door again. A few seconds later, I could hear drilling from inside the house again.

I didn't even bother to try telling him off again. I just want to sleep now. I turned to walk back to my apartment and noticed a possible reason why others couldn't hear those drilling sounds - thats dude's and my apartment are the closest to each other, at the end of the corridor, quite far away from the other apartments on the level.

I went back to my apartment and took out my headphones from my haversack. I plugged it in and played some Blackpink. I laid back down on the floor and pulled my blanket over me, until I heard drilling again.

"Headphones and music ain't helping." I guessed that my room was the closest to that dudes apartment, since the drilling was sO loud from there. I walked out to my living room, furthest from his apartment, and hopefully quietest corner. With headphones still plugged in, I closed my eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep.
