Few days before Saad's pov

AREESHA'S POV:

I was looking at the locket in my hands, when there was a knock on the door,

"Come in," I said softly and sat on the bed, one of the maid came in holding a phone in her hands,

"Oh Thank god, we found you," she said, I gave her a questioning look,

"What?"

"Sir Maaz is on the line he wanted to talk to you," she said, giving me the phone,

"Oh, Thank you," I said and took it from her with a smile, she nodded and left the room,

"Assalam O Alikum," I said,

"Walikum as Salam, where were you?And where is your cell phone? I was trying to call you for the last couple of hours," he said in a calm voice, which was a bit surprising for me,

"Sorry, I was in the closet, didn't listen to the sound of my phone," I replied,

"Well, be careful next, okay," he said, making me grin, he cared about me!

"So, I just called to let you know that we are going to have our reception tonight, so be ready, I will pick you up till 8:30 pm, Alizeh will be there to help you out and if you need anything, feel free to call me, okay," he said, I looked at the cell phone and again put it back on my ears,

"Are you okay?" I asked him,

"Why did you ask that?" he asked,

"Nothing, it's just you are talking like a normal person for I guess first time ever, and it's really surprising for me," I said, I heard him laugh richly,

"Be ready till 8:30 Areesha," he said and cut the call,

"Whoa! What was that?" I asked to myself, "Well, let's just hope for the best," I said to myself and dialed Alizeh's number and after talking to her and promising Adil to meet him today, I cut the call and headed towards the kitchen to get something to eat, I was having some serious cravings for sugar, I unlocked the sliding door and stepped into the kitchen, it was really huge and had almost everything in it, all the kitchen appliances were stacked on the huge rack on the nearby wall, there was an oak wood dining table in the middle I searched the whole kitchen but couldn't find the fridge.

"Okay, now this is so weird, how could they not have a single fridge in here? How do they work without it," I thought opening the cabinet and took out the cookie jar and hopped on the slab and started eating the cookie, but I needed some more sugar, this was not enough for me, I jumped down from the slab and put back the jar in a cabinet when a maid came in holding a silver tray with glasses on it.

"Ma'am, what are you doing here? Can I help you with something?" she asked, placing the tray on the counter, I nodded, "Yeah, I was just looking for something sweet, but can't find fridge over here, can you please tell me where the fridge is?" I asked, she smiled and motions me towards my feet; I raised my eyebrow at her,

"What?" I asked,

"You are standing on it," she said making me more confused, "What are you talking about?" I asked again, she came to me and asked me to step aside and pushed a button near me, and I saw a round glass on the floor moving, I rubbed my eyes twice, watching it,
