Maaz's Pov:
I shut my laptop and sighed as my driver stopped the car in front of the main entrance, I look up to my mansion, it's been a week since I last saw her, hold her in my arms and kiss her beautiful face, unfortunately I had to leave for Turkey last week for some business issues and I can't explain how much I missed my wife, I put my laptop back and picked up the beautiful white rose bouquet from the seat and got down from the car, I was so excited to meet her, it's just I missed her so much, only talking on phone or video calling was not enough for me. I want to spend some time alone with her and planned a beautiful dinner tonight, I already made all the arrangements and gave a day off to my household staff.
I speed up my pace and walk through the opened doors, but as I enter, I heard a cry and screams, I was still for a moment, watching them in front of me, but when my eyes landed on her lying in the pool of blood, my anger flared up and I looked up at the person standing on top of the stairs smiling, watching Areesha lying on the floor, I balled my fist and in the next moment I was on top of the stairs holding her from her neck choking the life out of her,
"How dare you!" I roared and tighten my grip on her neck, causing her body to jerk violently,
"Maaz Bhai, please, Api needs medical attention, I have been calling for an ambulance, but no one is here yet," I heard Adil from my back,
"STEVE!" I shouted and he came in from the back doors, talking on his phone with hard expressions on his face,
"I have called for an ambulance Sir, they....
He was quiet for a moment when my fist connected to his jaw; he stumbles back and holds his face,
"How? How the hell she gets inside?" I asked him, still holding Zoya's neck,
"Sir, we...
"Keep her in the basement until I return and Zoya, you should start praying, if anything happens to Areesha or to my baby, I swear I will end your life with my hands," I said and pushed her towards Steve who caught her from shoulders and handcuffs her,
I ran down the stairs and slightly tap on her cheeks,
"Areesha, please, love, please hold on," I said while checking her pulse, it was there, weak, but it was there, without wasting time I gather her in my arm and lifted her, lightly kissing her head, I asked Adil to open the door for me, my heart was pounding so fast that I could listen to my heartbeat.
He quickly ran and opens the car door; I laid her on the back seat with Adil. Coming around the car, I got in and started to drive as fast as I could. Carefully I picked her and laid on the gurney and ordered to call for the team of doctors, they rushed her inside the special unit and asked me to stay out.
