A/N: I will be adding and writing some stuff about the past and it might not make that much sense at first because of Chapter 3. I have no plan on changing that chapter since if you don't remember, everything is explained in Chapter 23. She was sent to the Swipe and erased her memories and gave her fake ones.

So now that's explained, I have one more thing to say.

Staring into the dull ceiling, Hans's mind was filled with tons of questions about his daughter. Questions that he's scared to ask. Answers that he's afraid to find out. Hans heard the door open and his wife came inside their room, sidling up beside him.

His wife looked different from Ava, his first love and the mother to his daughter, (Y/N). Ava has blonde hair while his new wife, Mary, has brown hair that just reached her shoulders. Unlike with Ava, they never had a child because they didn't want anyone else to suffer in this world.

"How are you?" Mary asked and she entangled her hand with Hans's.

"I don't know," he breathed out.

Mary knew all about her husband's past with WICKED and the daughter that he left behind. But she didn't hold it against him and accepted him whatever his past was.

"I saw how you looked at that tall British boy," she voiced out. "Was he your daughter's lover?"

"Yeah," he nodded. "What was more surprising is that, this boy-"

"Isn't immune," she cut him off. "I know all about the tragic love story between him and your daughter, Hans."

"That means that they've already found a Cure."

"Well why do you look so sad?" She asked him. "I would've thought that you would be happy finding out all about a Cure being found."

"There's one more story I haven't told you Mary. One more piece to the puzzle. The reason why I left (Y/N) there and didn't bring her with me."

"What is it?"

"My daughter is the Cure."

Flashback...

Hans was trying to calm down a baby (Y/N) in his arms. He was rocking her back and forth just so that she could be quiet.

"She still isn't quiet?" Ava bursted inside his office.

"No," Hans shook his head.

Both he and Ava worked for WICKED. Ava wasn't the Chancellor yet in this time, but she was starting to crawl her way up there. The only world that Ava and Hans ever knew was WICKED. They were just a couple of teenagers when WICKED was formed. They were handpicked by the government, the smartest kids in the world to form WICKED and to find a Cure.

Since they were just a couple of teenagers, they got too carried away with their emotions. Ava thought that they would be sent away when they found out that she was pregnant but they weren't, to their surprise. Of course they were scolded by the Chancellor for being so irresponsible, but they weren't sent away and neither was (Y/N).

Hans didn't know the reason why but was too busy being relieved to care. He didn't know that Ava was the first one who was informed why.
