« TOO MANY HARRYS »
The field looked particularly empty at this hour of the day, not only because the grass had been cut out but because nothing seemed to grow to life around. The sky was a mix of orange and pink but it didn't look appealing because of the dark grey clouds slowly coming forward.
Lillian and Ron were just outside the Burrow, realizing on their own that everything happening was on another level from all of the things that had happened ever since they walked in Hogwarts for the first time.
They didn't need to look at one another to feel the tension and fear emanating. But together, it was more bearable.
"Ron! Lilli! Tell your fathers supper's nearly ready."
With a sigh, the two teenagers walked a little further, not daring to scream their fathers' names, scared that anyone could be spying on them.
During the dinner, the mood was slightly enlightened, especially for Lillian who sat in between Fred and George and everyone relaxed as they waited for Remus and Nymphadora to arrive before they would go over at Harry's house.
"Lillian, you know you can't apparate because you still have the trace, right?" Remus pointed out as everyone stood on the field.
The blonde nodded, feeling the guilt build up in her chest. She was aware she couldn't change her birthday and that it would be complicated to travel undercover to help her friends but she knew she didn't have a choice.
"You'll go with me on your broom." Henry said, picking the object from the ground. "You guys apparate in five minutes, this way we all arrive approximately at the same time."
"Be careful," Remus pleaded slowly, almost leaning forward to hug Henry.
Remus earned a slap on the shoulder, "Come on, mate. I know you love me but don't be so cringy. See you in five minutes."
Lillian tried not to look over at Ron but she did see him look at her worriedly and she stuck her tongue out, winking at the twins as they started to fly away, disappearing in just a few seconds.
. . .
Lillian had missed her best friend. Every summer she truly realized how much he meant to her because she didn't have him around anymore.
So when the door opened, a shot of adrenaline rushed through her veins at the simple sight of the one more commonly called the Chosen One.
"Hello Harry!" Hagrid chirped, watching as Harry crushed Ron into a hug.
Hermione soon followed and Lillian wore the biggest smile ever as the two made eye contact, causing Harry to grabbed her wrist and wrap his arms around her tightly, hugging her for some longing seconds.
"You're looking fit." Hagrid added as Mad Eye pushed past them.
"Yeah, he's absolutely gorgeous. What say we get undercover before someone murders him?"
