The avengers kids

Chapter 18

Maddie's POV -
I was sleeping when I felt the car I was in come to a stop . I woke up hoping papa and daddy found me and were going to save me . They weren't there so I looked out the back window of the car and I saw daddy in his Ironman suit fly past me . The car started to move again . I wanted to yell for my daddy but there was tape on my mouth and my hands and feet were tied up . I want my papa and daddy . Who are these people who took me ? Oh no it's that nightmare I had when papa and daddy were gone . I'm getting taken away and I'll never see my papa and daddy again. I started to cry . The mean people who took me stopped the car again and pulled me out of the back . I put up a fight before they knocked me out . I woke up tied to a chair . There were needles and medicines beside me on trays . " Ah Good you woke up " this scary looking man said . He had a red face and scary eyes . " Who are you ? I want my papa ! I want my daddy!" I screamed. He slapped me . "Don't scream again or I will rip out your tongue " he said getting in my face . I cried wishing papa or daddy would find me . " Sir there are reports of the avengers around our area " a guy in a black army outfit said . " We aren't going to move . They will never find us ." The red faced guy said . I started to cry louder and the mean man turned back to me . " Shut up you brat !" He yelled at me . "Why do you need me ?" I asked . " Ah you see child I don't need you . I need your DNA . Your father , Captain America, the serum that was given to him years ago is in you and I want it so I can perfect it for my own new super soldiers . After I get a sample of your DNA I'm going to kill you . Then we will tell your parents where your body is and they will mourn whilst I get away " he said . I was scared because now I really won't see my papa and daddy ever again. I cried harder . " Take the child to her cell " the mean man said to one of his soldiers . The guy picked me up and took me to my cell . I don't know what a cell is but I know I don't want to be put in one . He threw me in a dark cold room with bars on it . I cried and I begged for him to help me , but he ignored me . He left me there and went back to that bad man with a red face . I curled up in a corner and cried . I wish my daddies would find me and save me . I don't want to die .

Tony's POV -
I saw the car she was in but I need more help. I can't get Steve because he isn't stable enough to go get her . I need to get Loki , Sam , and Natasha. I fly back to the avengers building . I radio Bucky and say " Bucky Steve needs you right now . Please go comfort him I have to go do something " . " I'm on my way tony " he said . I then radioed Sam , Loki and Nat . They got in the avengers bulletproof car and we sped off . When we got outside the hydra base I knew this wasn't going to be easy but I will do anything to save  my kid . Loki transformed into a hydra soldier so he could blend in and get Maddie . Natasha was gonna steal all their plans while me and Sam fought the soldiers. I heard another car pull up but it was a shield car . Steve got out of the car in his full Captain America suit . " Cap go home now . We can handle this " I said . " No Tony she's my daughter too and I'm going to help you whether you like it or not." He said being stubborn. " Stark I'm in and I can see the cells are you fighting the fleet yet ?" Loki asked through the radio . " No not yet but they are on their way " I said back to him . I could hear the soldiers coming and we all got ready for a fight . Steve ran through all the soldiers while me and Sam shot them from the air . There was a lot of soldiers and Steve was doing a good job fighting them but he couldn't move like he normally could because of him having the baby a couple days ago. " Stark she isn't in the cell " Loki said . Then I saw a red faced man come out of the building and I felt my heart drop . He had Maddie held up by her neck and a gun to her head . The soldiers stopped fighting and made a pathway for redskull so he could get to Steve . " Loki new plan get all the stuff you can from hydra and get out here " I said . " I'm on it " he said . I was looking at Steve , who was on the ground , and he looked up the path to see redskull . " Papa !" Maddie screamed . Redskull shook her by the neck and she was choking. " Ah Mr. Rogers it's nice to see you again . I see you lived through the crash and that you have a family now" he said . I saw Steve breaking slowly . We both knew there was nothing we could do or he would kill Maddie . " You see Captain I needed you only for your serum a long time ago but now that you have passed it down to the child I will use her for the serum to make my super army . " Redskull said . " Put my daughter down now " Steve said and I was scared of him with the tone he used . His motherly protective side is coming out I guess but damn it's absolutely terrifying. " Oh I'll let go her . Once I get what I want from her ." He said pulling out a syringe but before he could stick Maddie Loki came up behind him and stabbed him through the heart . Maddie kicked him and got free . Redskull fell to his knees and looked at Maddie . Maddie turned and ran to Steve . Before she got to Steve we heard a gun shot . I didn't know where it came from but I looked down and saw Maddie had stopped mid-run . She looked down and looked back up at us with tears in her eyes . Then she fell to the ground . I flew down to her and Steve ran to her . When I got there she was in a puddle of blood. Steve held her and rocked back and forth holding her . " No no no Baby stay awake papa and daddy are gonna take care of you " Steve said crying and rocking Maddie back and forth holding her close to him . " Steve give her to me I can fly her to the hospital quicker than anyone " I said crying . He gave her to me and I took off immediately. When I got her to the nearest hospital she barely had a heart beat . " Steve she's in surgery right now we are at the Green city hospital hurry " I said through the radio . " we are on our way stark " Sam said . They got there within a couple minutes and Steve was heartbroken. He looked so broken and there was nothing I could do to help him . I just hugged him and cried with him . We waited for an hour in the waiting room then the doctor came out. " It was a very difficult surgery but your daughter is doing good and she is going to make it " she said . " Thank you doctor " I said . I was glad Maddie would live and that she was okay . Steve was happy too but he still seemed upset . " What's wrong ?" I asked . " I just want to see my baby " he said . I hugged him and held his hand . It was a little over 30 minutes before the doctor came back out to tell us they had moved her to a private room . We all went to her room . I hesitated to open the door afraid of what I would see but Steve was eager to see her so I opened it .  We walked in and Maddie was hooked up to an iv and a bunch of other machines that monitor her vitals . She was awake and looking out the window at the city . She turned her head to us and smiled . " Papa! Daddy ! I missed you " She whispered in a weak and tired voice . " We missed you too baby " Steve said and he went over to hold her little hand. I went to the other side over her bed to hold her hand . We were all still in our gear so she was holding the iron man suit hand and Steve's hand with his gloves on . "My neck hurts " she said trying to touch her neck where Redskull was choking her . " Baby no don't touch your neck it's okay you'll be okay " Steve said pulling her hands down from her neck . " That mean guy hurt me . He hit me before you saved me " She said . " Honey where did he hit you ?" Steve asked getting upset again . " He hit me in the face because I was crying for you and daddy to come help me . He said I needed to shut up or he would kill me " She said looking at Steve . Steve just nodded and was looking like he was torn to pieces again . " Papa ,Daddy  I'm tired " she said her eyes dropping . " Get some rest kiddo papa and I will be back later tonight . We need to go home and get some clothes and stuff for you . Do you want anything special from home ?" I asked her . " Can you bring me my Ironman doll and Captain America doll and some of those videos about our family ?" She asked . " Sure thing honey . Uncle Loki is gonna stay with you until we get back " I said and kissed her head . Steve did the same then we went outside the room . ". Loki can you stay with her until we get back ? We need to go grab some stuff from the base . " I asked him . " Of course I can stay with her but it seems I won't have to do much work as she is asleep " he said . " Yea she should sleep for a while thank you Loki " I said . He nodded and went into her room to see her . We went home and grabbed all the stuff we needed . Steve also fed Peggy while I fed peter his nightly cereal and we put her and peter to bed . When we got back to the hospital Maddie was still asleep and Loki was too . We put her Ironman and Captain America dolls beside her and she grabbed both and cuddled them . I knew everything would be okay now that we got her back . The other kids are coming to visit her tomorrow. Peter is really excited to see her . Peggy ,even though she's a baby and doesn't really understand, is excited to see her big sister too . Let's hope she feels better tomorrow.
