Maddie POV :
I walked back to my room with two guards holding onto my arms . My hands were cuffed together but it's not like I could fight back anyway , I was just in an experiment testing and my new wounds were bleeding . I barely had any strength left . This has been going on for months and it's became a weekly thing . The process is to test something new on me and then if I'm wounded by the testing I get to heal for the rest of the week but if I'm not wounded then they continue with new testing . My parents know about the testing but there is nothing they can do about it , my dad may be a billionaire but there are limits to what he can even do or more like who he can pay off to help . The guards took me into my room and strapped me down to my bed so I would heal quicker and so I couldn't escape. I was too weak to escape anyways . I closed my eyes and they had left my room . I couldn't hold back anymore so I started to cry . " Adis why ... w-why haven't you came to save me yet ?" I sobbed out . I held onto his promise for a while but after no communication with him and no signs of him planning to get us out I gave up hope . I felt lost , broken ,like I was just left behind to rot here . I knew that I didn't deserve him at least that's what the people who tortured me told me . They said I was a mutation and that I was good for nothing . At the beginning of my torture I didn't believe them but now everything has changed. They are right I'm worthless ,good for nothing , and no one would ever love me ...I'm useless . " That's not true ... none of what you just thought was true " someone said from the intercom . " What ?" I said as loudly as possible but it only came out in a whisper I had lost my voice due to screaming for help and from the constant pain . " I'm so sorry we didn't come get you sooner child , they have almost ruined you due to our holding back " the person said . " Who are you ?" I said my voice was still quiet because I didn't want ruin that too . " It is I , Loki ...My dear I'm so sorry this has happened to you but we must get you out of here now ,Adis is coming for you " Loki said . I just nodded I was just to weak to even speak . A few moments later and my door was blown off the hinges. " Maddie " Adis said breathlessly, he started to cry . " my gods ...what have they done to you" he said walking over to hold my hand . "I'm okay " I whispered to him . " I'm getting you out of here right now " he said picking me up . He undid my restraints and picked me up bridal style . I buried my face into his neck as he carried me out of my room . He saw more guards coming so he sat me on the tile floor and he made sure I was okay before he turned back towards the oncoming guards . He turned into his frost giant form and threw ice at the guards . They fell down dead and he wasn't turning back into his asgardian form . He came over and picked me up again he started to run while carrying me . " Your parents and brother and his boyfriend are already in a safe place ,the others got them ... I specifically said I was getting you " he said holding me tightly . " Why ?" I asked my voice sounded scratchy but it was trying to return to normal . " so I could do this " he said stopping and he kissed me passionately. I returned the kiss just as passionately.  We broke apart and he rested his forehead on mine . " I missed you so much ... by the Norns Maddie I missed you like crazy I thought I was about to be admitted into a mental institution because I didn't have you with me " he said holding my cheek in his hand . " I love you Adis " I said leaning into his touch . " Let's get you out of here love " he said . He smiled at me and started to run again . We reached the front doors of the facility within minutes. As we were about to leave we heard a voice behind us . " So you are gonna take our little lab rat " the guard who hated me the most , Alexander Pierce , said . " If I were you I would stay as far away from all of us as possible because I will not hesitate to kill you if you come any closer " Adis said . Alexander stepped forward just to be a spiteful little shithead. " Oh look at that I moved closer what are you gonna do now prince of Asgard ?" He asked laughing . "Your weak just like she is , you must be exterminated . You so called hero's are just a problem to society " Alexander said . Adis didn't even give it a second thought he sat me down on the ground and stood infront of me . " You say that again and I will slaughter you " he said in his deeper voice . It's honestly scary when he turns into a frost giant . His voice turns dark and deep and he becomes a bloodthirsty killer , but in his Asgardian form he is as normal as normal can be . Alexander opened his mouth to say a smartass comment but Adis threw a piece of ice into his arm as a warning to not even speak . Apparently Alexander didn't get the message because he screamed" You freak of nature you are gonna die when I get ahold of you !" . Adis had had enough because he ran lightning speed up to Alexander and Adis picked him up by holding his jaw . " You dare use that tone with the future king of Asgard? Big mistake , you know what happens to people on my planet when they talk to royalty like that ? " he brought Alexander's face closer to his while Alexander struggled in Adis's grip . " They are executed immediately so now I will do the same . " Adis said with a dark voice . " Screw you and your little whore ! You know I had a lot of fun with her using her as my personal toy !thanks for dying for a few months so I could have her all to mysel-" Alexander was cut off by Adis. Adis has dragged his nails down Alexander's throat and sliced it open . He ripped out Alexander's intestines and then still held him in the air by his jaw until Alexander took his last breath . He dropped him to the ground. Adis bent down to look at the corpse. " I told you , you speak like that again and I will kill you " he said then he got up and walked over to me . He had tears in his eyes . " Adi thank you ... thank you so much for doing that , he's a monster Adis ... he... h-he " I said but I couldn't finish talking . " Do your parents know what happened?" He asked bending down to hold my hand . His hands were covered in blood but I didn't care . I shook my head no and I looked down . I felt him pull me into his chest . " I'm so sorry my love I ... I-I should have came sooner " he said sobbing into my hair . " Baby it's okay there was nothing anyone could have done , you here now that's all that matters " I said holding him . " I wanted to be your first , I wanted to help you through the first time and I wanted to show you real love but he stole that from you " he said sobbing still . " Adis he was not my first , you will be , I believe that you have to love the other person for it to count as the first time and I love only you , Yes he did that first but you will be my real first , I love you " I said looking into his red eyes . " I'm sorry love I - ..." he just didn't even know what to say . " Adis your so cold " I said and I laughed lightly trying to break the tension . " Oh right " he said blushing and he turned back into his Asgardian form . He picked me up and carried me out of that horrible place . " Maddie , love when we get back we need to tell your parents about what happened " he said solemnly. " I can't... Adis I just can't tell them " I said looking down . " You don't have to ... I can tell them if you want me to " he said nuzzling my head . " Please , I just can't tell them and then look at their faces " I said . " Well first things first you are moving into my tent with me " he said smiling at me . " I would love that " I said smiling at him . " The others are waiting for us in a nearby forest we should be there within 30 minutes " he said as we started to walk into the forest . " Adis you can sit me down now , I can walk " I said trying to stand up to walk . " No I will carry you all the way home my love " he said holding me still . I gave up on trying to get out of his arms and I laid my head on his chest . I could hear his heart beating and it put me in a trance . " Go to sleep love and I will wake you when we make it to the others " he said . I nodded and closed my eyes . Months of depression and exhaustion disappeared in mere seconds just by knowing that someone who loved me was taking care of me . I fell asleep in Adis's arms while he carried me .
