𐬿 𐮚 ミ☆★彡 𐮚 𐬿

A YOUNG GIRL WITH BRIGHT BLUE ORBS and pinned straight light brown hair sat in the backseat of a black vehicle that was speeding down a main road. A man wearing a black tux with white gloves occupied the driver seat, guiding the car to their final destination.

The man sharply slowed the car down when a group of kids came running into the open street, "Hey, watch it!" He yelled out the window which caused them to quickly apologize before scurrying away from the intimidating man. The vehicle rolled on before coming to a full stop in front of a beige house where the family of five stood on the porch, waiting for their newest arrival.

The tall man stepped out first as the girl waited in the car, her door was pulled open and he stuck his gloved hand out in front of her. The stoic girl kept a straight face and placed her manicured hand in the man's as she stepped out of the vehicle, revealing to the family the perfectly tailored black dress that she wore and a pair of matching kitten heels placed over her feet.

"Goodbye Alvin, until we meet again." The girl gave her final adieu to her driver once he placed her suitcases into her awaiting hands.

The man bowed his head respectfully to the freckled brunette, he was always fond of her, "Farewell Miss. Jamie, I'm sure you will behave to the best of your advantage."

The emotionless girl huffed, watching the broad man leave once he piled back into the car. She sighed, hesitantly spinning on her heel and peering towards the huddled family. There stood her father who she hadn't seen in years, sticking out like a sore thumb beside the gingers and appearing slightly anxious for her arrival, a woman with red hair and a kind smile on her face stood next to him with their arms hooked. Next was a redheaded teenage boy who didn't share what he felt on his face as he stared blankly at her while keeping his hand on a identical red haired girls shoulders, her eyes turning into slits as she watched the brunette slowly inspect her family members, popping and chewing harshly on a piece of bubblegum, and lastly was a preteen boy sharing the same shade of hair as his family, he stood beside the girl with a scowl and his chubby arms crossed over his chest in annoyance.

"Welcome home, Jamie!" The women greeted with a wide smile and the pop of a bubble was heard from the glaring girl.

"Fuck. This. Shit." Jamie Adele Darlington muttered lowly under her breath before making her way up to them, lugging her belongings with her.

"How's my girl been?" He father asked, pulling away from his wife and striding over towards his only biological child.

He reached forward to pull the suitcases from her hands but she leaned away, gripping them tightly around the handles, "Just fine. Not like you'd ever care since I haven't seen or heard from you in 6 years," Jamie tutted.

"Well, now we have the time to catch up. I'm sorry for not being there, I've been busy," David Brasstin sighed, disappointed in himself for not being more present in his daughters life but dealing with a certain Porter girl was quite the handful for him.

"Hmm," The blue eyed girl hummed, unamused with his excuse, "So, are you going to show me where I'll be staying or are we going to stand out here all day?"

David nodded, moving away and leading his daughter to the rest of his family, placing a careful hand on her shoulder as he turned to the others who watched them, "Guys, this is my daughter Jamie Darlington. James," Said girl rolled her eyes at the nickname she hadn't been resonated with for years, "This is my family, my wife Helen, her oldest son Tyler, her daughter Scarlett and the youngest boy, Hamilton."

"It's so wonderful to finally meet you! Your dad said such good things about you," Helen said, her grin never falling from her face.

Jamie scoffed, "Shocker."

"How about you give her a tour of the house, Helen?" David questioned, ignoring his daughter and glancing over at his wife who happily obliged.

The woman led the brunette around their home, overly enthusiastic about giving her the excursion. Jamie rolled her eyes for the hundredth time when they reached the guest bedroom, where she'll reside in for the next couple of months. She found the woman to be quite irking already, not even being with her for over fifteen minutes.

Jamie wished that her mother didn't send her here to suffer her consequences, the woman thought it would be best for her to go see her father after so many years but the main reason she was sent away was because her parents bribed her. They promised her the opportunity of paying for the one thing she wanted most, a vacation to Montepulciano, Italy. The girl couldn't possibly pass the offer, her love of historical architecture and the Italian culture overpowering her reluctance of living with her father and his family for a couple of months during the summer break.

Even though she had missed her father and craved for his presence, she couldn't help but feel nothing but anger towards him for abandoning her and her mother to start off brand new. Jamie would never forgive David, and the man never expected her to. After getting settled into her room, Jamie decided that she wanted to already cause a little commotion.

She smirked as she watched Scarlett stroll up the creaky wooden stairs, carrying a laundry basket in her long arms. The redhead almost reached her bedroom to put the freshly washed and dried clothes away until a shoulder had bumped into her own, making her drop the basket from her grasp. She whipped her gaze to the brunette, who kept the smirk on her face.

Great, another thing to make her even more annoyed.

Scarlett threw her daggers with her green eyes, "Look, I know you're here to see your dad and all, but stay out of my way and we won't have a problem. Sound good?" She bent down and picked up her basket, her hands clenched around the handles.

"No, it doesn't." The blue eyed girl mused, "I don't listen to what other people tell me what to do, I do what I want. I know you don't want me to living here and I don't want to be here either, so fuck off." Jamie retorted, stepping close towards Scarlett which caused an incoming Tyler to place a hand on her shoulder, halting the girls steps.

"Hey, back up. Let's not do this when you don't even know each other!" Tyler exclaimed, trying to break a little bit of the tense air but it didn't work as the girls deathly glared at each other.

Scarlett scoffed before turning away from the two, swinging her bedroom door open before slamming it shut behind her causing a few frames hanging on the walls to rattle from the force. Jamie rolled her eyes before abandoning Tyler, leaving him to stare into space with a sigh falling from his lips. He didn't think that the girls were going to butt heads so quickly, but clearly Jamie and Scarlett were both stubborn and resilient. He hoped that maybe they could've bonded but his idea of them having a decent relationship diminished in the span of minutes.

This is going to be hell for the next couple of months.
