I sigh, "What did I say when you asked me the first time? Why don't you wanna stay here with Parker?"

"Oh, wow. Ms. Sarah, you look amazing! Whoever this mystery man is, will be very excited to see you." Parker walked in, with her hands folded across her chest.
I smiled shyly, running my hands down my dress. "Ehh, I guess. What time is it?"
"It's 7:41. What time is he coming?"
"Around 8 o'clock. I need to flat iron this mess on top of my head before the time magically changes to 8 and he pulls up." I said, plugging in my flat iron and began to flat iron my hair.
"Mommy can I make some cookies? I can save some for you." Christian said, causing me to smile at him.
"Yeah. But you gotta have Ms. Parker help you. I don't want you getting burned or hurt, okay?" I said.
As 8 o'clock hit, I began to get nervous again. I can't help these feelings I get when I know August is on his way. I'm really taking a liking to him. He's amazing, even though I've only know him for maybe two weeks. I can't shake this feeling when I'm in his presence. I don't even get this nervous around Peter. Never have and maybe never will.
Ding.
I took my phone out my purse, opening the text message.
from Mr. August, 8:07 pm; I'm outside
I took a deep breath, grabbing everything I needed and headed to the living room.
"Okay guys, I'm heading out. Have fun, be safe. If there's any problems, please don't hesitate to call me. Christian be good and mommy loves you." I say as Christian ran to me.
"I love you too mommy." I bent down to give him a kiss.
"Bye Ms. Sarah. Have fun." Parker waved.
