Hera's POV
I howled as the whip broke air and smashed into my back. It's been at least three weeks since I've been getting these beatings and I don't know what I did to deserve them. The pain is so much, I want it to end so badly, but I know that this is just the beginning of it all.
I sobbed as blood trickled down my back, the stinging was horrible, I'm pretty sure they're infected. I just want the pain to be over, I'd do anything to be back with Dante and Aurora... Anything.

I was going crazy.
I didn't know what to do.
I've been locked in a room for months, malnutrition and unable to feel anything on my back other than pain. It's horrible, I need to get home with my mate and beautiful baby. I don't even know if Dante is looking for me anymore, I just want my life back, that's all I'm asking for. Please, MoonGoddess. I will do anything.
I think I heard him walking around, but there are so many sounds that I don't know what's right or not. At least I could still look up to see the outside world, a few squirrels have almost fallen in, but there are barricades. I've also seen a few deer roaming around too, I miss chasing after them in my fur form, it gave me freedom. I miss freedom... It's been too long.
The door flung open, then a strange man walked in... I haven't seen him before. "W-what are you doing?" I asked, but he just walked up to me and kicked my stomach.
"Don't speak unless spoken to," He said to me, then kicked me again.
"Please stop," I sobbed, crawling up into a ball and taking a deep breath. "Please," I begged. I can't take it... I can't... I'm way too weak... I thought I was strong, but no...
"Don't beg, that's being greedy," he kicked me again, causing me to throw up and spit out blood. I nodded, then was kicked to my stomach.
"What-" I screamed as a whip came down and scolded my almost bareback. Oh, my GOD! I can't take it anymore! I have to give up!
Dante's POV
I miss her... I need her... I'm insane... I've killed too many, I've lost my soft side. She's my number one priority and I will do ANYTHING to get her back. I just want one more hug. One more kiss. One more smile. One more nod... Anything... I just need to know how she is right now. I miss her beyond belief.
