"Babe, can I talk to you?"

Your charming boyfriend sprints towards you, pulling you in for a hug. His favourite way of making you happy.

"What's up?"

"My ex came today." He immediately tenses up, his eyes going darker as he slowly releases you.

"What did he do?"

"He said that if I go near you, he'll kill me."

He freezes before bursting out laughing.

"He threatened you! The bastard!"

"There's more. He said that he'll kill you too."

More of his contagious laughter spills out of his plump lips as he pulls you in.

"He threatened me! Where is he? I'll beat his ass for talking to you like that."

You smile, not hesitating to tell him the address of your ex. Not because you wanted to see the low life hurt but because you were done with how much he wanted you two to get back together.

Your boyfriend returned a couple of hours later, a giddy smile on his face.

"Don't worry about him anymore. I finished the job for you."

You thank him with a kiss.
