Chapter 34- Tag. Not it.

Davina sat on her bed shuffling through various paperwork and doing her homework. She had come along way since her breakdowns where she missed so much school. She finally had everything in order and she had one of the highest gpa's in Riverdale.

"Hello?" Davina answered her phone

"I'm looking for Miss Jones," a mans voice said

"This is she,"

"Hello Miss Jones, this is Travis with home renovations. I was calling to talk about your inquiry of combining trailers?"

"Oh! Yes! Hello. Yes, so I have a trailer beside my fathers but we were hoping to connect them somehow." Davina said softly but excitedly

"Well, I would need to come out and inspect both homes to figure out the best way to do so. Does 4pm tomorrow sound good?" Travis asked

"Yes sir, thank you so much." Davina said

"You're welcome, have a good night miss." Travis said before hanging up the phone.

Davina immediately threw her phone down and ran towards the living room. However, as she got to the door she tripped over Sweet Peas shoes and fell forwards. As she watched herself go straight towards the floor Sweet Pea caught her and stood her back up.

"I swear you're the clumsiest person alive," Sweet Pea joked and Davina just smiled before running towards FP.

"Dad!" she shouted and FP turned to face her with a mouth full of a sandwich

"Mm?"

"I have someone coming by tomorrow at 4 to look at the trailers," She beamed

"Okay," he nodded before turning back to his food

Davina just looked at him for a second before turning to face Sweet Pea, and then walking back into their room. She was expecting him to be much happier about that than he was. Sighing as she walked into her room she plopped down onto her bed and stared at the ceiling.

Moments later she heard the sound of her door closing and she sat up for a moment to see Sweet Pea walking in. He sat down beside her and moved some of her work towards the pillows.

"You okay?" He asked and she turned to face him

"He thinks I'm pregnant," she sighed

"Are you?" Pea questioned and she smiled at him

"Unfortunately not," she sighed "but it was easier to allow him to believe that than let him know that we are trying to take Cherry from her family."

"I am her family," Sweet Pea groaned and Davina just pressed her hand against his cheek

"I know baby," she said as she moved her body towards his and placed her head gently on his chest.

"I think you should tell him," Pea said as he played with her hair

"He'll fight me on it,"

"Davina, I need Cherry here and I cannot risk her safety any longer. He needs to know."

Sighing heavily Davina stood up and playfully kicked his feet off the feet and then turned to walk out of her room.

"I'm not pregnant," Davina said as she entered the room not realizing that it wasn't just FP in there anymore but both her bothers as well.

"What?" FP questioned

"I need the house and the money because Pea and I are petitioning for custody of Cherry." Davina said honestly and waited for his reaction

"Why?"

"Pea isn't just here because he loves me, but because Jeremy has gone down hill quite a bit." Davina said and Pea walked out of the room joining her side
