Finn's POV:

Still Sunday...

Millie did another spin and I brought her back to the slow dance. We were back from the walk and the dinner and somehow we managed to wind up slow dancing to the song, "Every Breath You Take".

"I love this song." She said softly in almost a whisper.

"Don't you think it is kind of creepy?" I asked with raised eyebrows.

"Well, yes. But it can be seen from different point of views." My interest peeked.

"What is your point of view?"

She sighed looking down at our hands. "I want to see it as romantic but I can't help but laugh at how creepy it is." She says chuckling a little bit. I smiled down at her. "You have good footwork." She mumbled.

"Thanks." Her eyes wouldn't meet mine but I could help but analyze every detail of her pretty face.

I don't know what this girl is doing to me. I have only known Millie for a week and she has teased me, held my hand, slow danced, and not one kiss. This is against any belief I ever had. But in the midst of it all I found myself liking the hand holding. She probably didn't see anything in me other than a friendship. But I don't mind taking it slow, even if it takes one hundred years. Ugh... I am making myself cringe.

Something about her was different, you couldn't help but wait. Whatever it took. I don't want to be a player. I want to show her I am different.

"Stop staring at me, creep." She repeated in a low voice. I laughed softly as the flashback from a few nights ago went through my mind.

"But I like staring at you. You're pretty." I complimented. She started to blush and I smiled. She just would not meet my eyes. I finally placed my hand under her chin and lifted her head up so she made contact with me.

"T-thank you." She told me with a shy smile. "But you are really starting to sound like the guy in the song." She smirked at me chuckling after her statement.

"Oh haha." I said sarcastically. She let go of my hands and bent down laughing.

"Sorry Finnie." She breathed. She walked over to her record and stopped the music. "Sadie's parents should be home soon."

"So?" I asked with a shrug. She smiled and walked over to me.

"Well I mean David might take this the wrong way."  I nodded know she was right. But what is this?

"Yeah I guess I'll see you later." She nodded  and followed me to the front door.

"Bye Finn. I had fun today." I smiled turning towards her. I tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear making her blush.

"Me too. Bye!"

"Bye." She mumbled.

Millie's POV:

I woke up in the morning a smile present on my face. I don't know why I was smiling, I just was. Sadie's bed was empty, she must have already been up. I took my precious time as I scooted out of the bed. I looked back at the clock realizing that time was indeed precious because I just spent five minutes getting out of bed.
