Millie's POV:

"Ok so Caleb, Noah, and Gaten all still plan on seeing Finn." Sadie told me looking at me pitifully as I sit in the corner of our hotel room. I still hadn't seen my mom after the incident.

"And you?" I ask with hopeful eyes that she wouldn't dismiss her plans just for me. I didn't get the answer I wanted.

"I'm staying." She said looking at me blankly.

"Sadie don't stay for me. Go with them, see your friend." I suggested to her but she shook her head.

"Listen Millie, I'm staying on two circumstances. One, you are in no condition to me alone. And two, your mom is still my aunt and I care about her. I want to be here." She told me looking at me sternly. I nodded mentally cursing myself for assuming things were about me again.

I have been self conscious about myself lately regarding things like being selfish. I think everything is about me and that is wrong.

"Ok, thank you." I thanked her giving her a weak smile and standing up from the corner. She smiled at me and curved an arm around my shoulders.

"So... what shall we do today?" She asked looking at me playfully. I smiled and looked down. It was still the morning so we had the day ahead of us.

"I don't know. Should I go see my mom?" I asked her looking her in the eye and raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know, do you think you are ready?" She questioned me dropping her arm from my shoulder. I sighed and contemplated.

Was I ready? It was still all new. I had just gotten used to Hawkins and Finn's disappearance and all the sudden my mom shows up midst I am am trying to get Finn back. You can understand I am confused. My brain is a tornado of thoughts.

"I'm still trying to adjust to the thought of my mother being back." I said. She nodded and grabbed her car keys.

"Well, while you get your thoughts in order we can go to this nice shop and get you some ice cream." She suggested and I smiled nodding.

Again my mind had slipped and I gasped. "Wait you can't eat ice cream." I said remembering she was vegan. She laughed and shook her head.

"Like I said, nice shop they have vegan ice cream too." She said and I nodded following her out to the car.

Caleb's POV:

Gaten, Noah, and I were on the plane heading to Canada. I was sad Sadie and Millie couldn't join us but I understood that Millie was going through a rough patch.

I was really excited to see Finn. I bet girls would be all over him again. Hopefully he was happier here.

I made sure that his dad wouldn't ever mess with him again. It was the least I could do. I called the cops on him.

I know I know I shouldn't intervene with family drama but that man deserves to go to jail because of the horrible things he did to Finn. I just wanted to make sure Finn would be safe from now on.
