[Jaemin POV]

"Yah! Hyung..... WAIT. I DIDNT SIGN UP FOR THIS!!"

"Its because you don't have a choice, Jaeminie, now sit down! We're dying your hair whether you want it or not!" Ten guarded the teen from escaping the hair salon seat.

"What the heck?! It's my hair though, and I want food!" Jaemin whined.

Ten rolled his eyes for probably the hundreth time, "Chennie and Junnie, could you grab the boy some pretzel bits, strawberry boba, and a large serving of rolled strawberry revel ice cream with two waffers, fresh strawberries, and some Pocky?"

"Hyung... I'm hungry too..." Renjun admitted shyly.

Junnie was a favorite dongsaeng. He had no choice.

Ten threw his credit card at them.

"Make me go bankrupt and I will rearrange your body parts."

The two nodded like their lives depended on it (which it could've) and left with no further words, hand-in-hand. Chenle probably made a bad joke on the way, as Renjun rolled his eyes and proceeded to flick the younger's forehead.

Jaemin smiled.

He remembered something long ago... Something that shouldn't have mattered as of now.

Jaemin walked along the edge of the sidewalk.

He didn't have much in mind to do today. The park was always fun, but kids get bored too.

The seven year old sighed. His parents were at work in America and his hyung was having fun with Seungjun, Chanyeol (Yeollie), and Rowoon. Its dangerous to have a child roam the streets alone, but everyone knew him wherever he went. These street food vendors and store owners all either knew his parents or watched him grow everyday as he greeted them alone or with friends from time to time.

Balancing on the curb of the street still, Jaemin wondered if elephants felt weird when they sucked water into their trunks. Somehow, he was going to reach an answer when he bumped into another boy.

This boy was taller than him.
This boy was young like him.
This boy was cute.
This boy was angry though.

"Sorry. Yah, apologize please," a boy behind him, probably his brother asked.

"What the...No! He ran into me hyung!" The taller boy yelled.

"I'm sorry, let's make up and be friends!" Jaemin was thrilled to find someone his age.

"No!"

"Awww... Okay."

"Hyung, let's go!" The boy started to walk away.

Jaemin sighed. Alone again.

As the angry boy walked away, Jaemin could hear him speak loudly as his steps grew faint.

"Who does he think he is anyways? Loser."

Jaemin stopped.

Should he let it go?

No.

He wanted a friend right?
