The woman watched me with a fond smile. I found it somewhat unnerving to have her staring at me from atop the carriage. "Is there something you want?" I asked nervously. She smiled at me and waved me over. "He's a cute boy, isn't he?" I blinked before looking at Link while he checked Epona. "Yeah," I said noticing how his hair needed a wash to show off the shine. How kind he's been to me, as well as how helpful he's been. "He is." I said smiling softly. "Mm, so tell me about yourself. He's told me a bit about you but not much." I smiled at Link.

"What has he told you?" I asked turning back to her. "He's told me you're 17, very kind and has a magical pendant. He's also informed me you have a very level head, your favorite color is green and that you're afraid of bugs. What of your family?" I smiled at her softly. "Well, the thing is ma'am—"

"Call me Telma." I nodded. "Well, Telma, I have memory loss. I don't know much about myself, where I came from or anything. I do know that I have a best friend who cares about me. I also know that I'm going to help Link save Hyrule." Telma frowned and nodded. "I'm so sorry darling. Ilia also has a lot of memory loss." I smiled softly. "Link has a crush on Ilia, so there's a reason he stares at her like," I pointed to Link who was watching Ilia with... sadness in his eyes. "Well, not like that." I frowned. "But more... in love! You know?" I asked Telma, she laughed. "Yes, I know." Telma chuckled and looked at me.

"You're different, what do you think you really are?" She asked. I thought for a moment. "I think maybe I'm from a tribe that was banished from Hyrule." Telma frowned and thought. "I don't know of any tribe that was banished (Y/n)." I sighed softly. Telma gave me a sorry smile. "Hey, it's okay. I'm sure Link will find your family, I'm sure he's smart." I nodded. "He is." Link waved at me. "(Y/n)! Let's go!" I waved to Telma and ran to Link. I hopped onto Epona and smiled happily. "What did you two talk about?" He asked and climbed aboard.

"Well, about you and Ilia. Then my favorite subject, me!" I joked. Link chuckled and blushed softly. "What about me and Ilia?" He asked slowly, I wrapped my arms around him smirking. "I can tell you have a crush on her!" I purred. Link's eyes widened as he looked at me. "What?" I nodded. "Well duh, it's so obvious." I said rolling my eyes. "You want babies with her!"
"Ew, (Y/n), please don't." I chuckled and hugged Link tighter. "Don't worry, sly man, I'll help you win her heart." Link frowned and pulled my arms off of him. "How? She can't remember a thing." I blinked and looked at Ilia seated in the carriage. "Oh yeah." I mumbled and Link smiled at me. "Not like you can either." I smacked his head lightly as we rode up next to the carriage. "So, tell me your names." Ilia said from out the window.

"This? This is Link." I said jabbing Link in the ribs. "Link?!" Ilia gasped, Link leaned forward with wide eyes. "I'll never forget your kindness." She smiled. "I'm (Y/n)." Ilia nodded and giggled. "Hello (Y/n)." Ilia went back into the carriage as Telma began to go. I smirked at Link and gently shoved him. "Flirting 101, Link." I said Link laughed as we began to ride. We happened upon a bridge and saw another moblin on the bridge riding a hog.

The moblin had shields on either side of him, but the front was clear. "I'll shoot him, don't let us get knocked off." I sat to Link, loading an arrow. He nodded and began to ride ahead. I shot the moblin, he crashed into the side and fell off. Link smirked at me as he stopped and waved to Telma. Telma began to cross as Link grabbed what the moblin dropped. A key to unlock all gates. Link smirked and climbed back onto Epona following them. "We gotta key." He said proudly. We came to a gate and unlocked it, going out into Hyrule field. I shot down things that attempted to bomb the carriage and Link put out fires. It was a long and hard journey to Kakariko.

As Link unlocked the last gate he smiled softly as they got inside. Link climbed onto Epona grunting. "She's gonna hate me." He mumbled walking Epona and me inside. Epona immediately went towards the water. I got off and we rushed the Zora boy inside as night fell. Renado quickly took him in and laid the boy down to rest. We were all shooed from the room as Renado worked on him. Link and I sat in the corner. I leaned onto him and he held onto me. He rested his head atop of mine and I felt his weight slowly slip onto me.
