Anger could not begin to describe how I was feeling. Anger was just something to cover it up. Anger was a secondary emotion, the first to come is usually humiliation. Not right now. Right now, I was angry because of all the hurt that Ganondorf had caused. We looked about the throne room for traps, swords at the ready. "Welcome to my castle." Ganondorf growled as I looked up and spotted Zelda perched at the triforce. Link was staring at her with horror in his eyes.

"Ah, you." Ganondorf sneered spotting me. I growled as Midna came to float in front of me. "The Twili Zant always spoke about. (Y/n), isn't it? Pathetic, wasn't he?" I growled lower as Ganondorf looked me over boredly. "Yes, I can see the reason he's appreciate you. Zant was always adamant about keeping you safe. I just don't value that as much as he." Ganondorf growled as Midna stepped forward, seething. "So, you're Ganondorf?" She snarled. He stood laughing. "We've been dying to meet you."

Link and I readied our weapons, eager to fight. "Your people have long amused me, Midna. To defy the gods with such petty magic, only to be cast aside. How very pathetic. Pathetic as they were, though, they served me well. Their anguish was my nourishment. Especially yours (Y/n), do you remember when you were fourteen?" Realization hit me like a bus. "My parents." I whispered and looked up. "You..."
"Made sure they ended up like that." I glared and held my sword. "You monster!" I screamed as Midna held me back with a snarl.

"Their hatred bled across the void and awakened me. I drew deep of it and grew strong again. Your people had some skill, to be sure, but they lacked true power. The kind of absolute power that those chosen by the gods wield. He who wields such power would make a suitable king for this world, don't you think?" He holds up his hand and shows the gleaming triforce on the back. "Ha! Such conceit!" Midna says holding herself back. "But if you are one of the chosen wielders of power, as you claim... I will risk everything to deny you!" Midna snapped as Ganondorf smirked. "Shadow has been moved by light, it seems." He says. "How amusing. Very well. Deny me, then! Yes, try to deny me. You and your little friends." Ganondorf challenged and looked to Zelda.

Midna caught on quicker as she threw herself over Zelda to protect her. Ganondorf transformed into shadow and shot himself towards Midna and Zelda. Midna wasn't affected as it hit Zelda. Midna turned and raised her hand, about to slap her. Slowly, she lowered her hand and cupped Zelda's face gently. Zelda's eyes snapped open and Midna was flung back. A barrier was put around us, I immediately got my sword ready. "Princess!" I called rushing for her. The barrier held me back as I heard Ganondorf laughing. "All of you, faithless fools who would dare to take up arms against the king of light and shadow." He says pulling out her sword. "So you choose, and you shall feel my wrath!"

He had taken control of Princess Zelda, and was using her. She shot a ball of light at Link, he hit it back and they began to play a game with it. Ganondorf was caught off guard as it hit him, then looked at me and did the same. I had to time it right. I did and Ganondorf was shocked again. I looked over to Link and was struck with the worst sensation in my life.

My body seized up, I gasped and flung myself backwards as my muscles spasmed. I screamed as my body returned numb, Ganondorf returning my scream as Link rushed over to me. It all stopped after a moment and I felt my pendant grow warm. It still worked. I began to breathe normally as Link helped me up, Ganondorf panting for air. Midna, however, had gotten back up. She used the fused shadows to get Ganondorf out of Zelda's body and gently laid her down. "(Y/n), protect Zelda!" Midna ordered as I got up and scrambled over to the light princess. I watched in horror as Ganondorf turned into a giant beast. Link growled and decided to match it, shrinking down into his wolf form.

Sacred beast against evil beast. Who would win? I heard a soft groan and looked over to the princess. "It'll be okay, Zelda." I whispered healing myself as fast as I could. "I'll get you in a second." She opened her eyes weakly and took my hand. "(Y/n)?" I nodded and began to heal her, trying to block out the sounds behind me.
