Amber Thompson and Jonah Marais cross paths again in a random elevator, in a random city, during a random time, but their ending isn't quite so random.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" I ask, trying to play innocent even though I know it won't work.
"You know what I mean," he says, searching my eyes for an answer.
"Fine, something is... happening," I mutter, kicking the ground.
"With you-know-who?" Daniel asks, not wanting the others to know who we're talking about.
"Yeah," I mumble, still staring at the ground.
"No!" He exclaims, making me look at him. "This can't happen! That's not allowed. You're both—you can't."
"It's just happening," I hiss. "How the hell do I stop it?"
"Oh, I don't know maybe say, 'This can't happen. Goodbye'?" Daniel whispers back like it's obvious.
"It's not that easy."
"Oh my lord. You don't even feel guilty do you?" He asks, glaring daggers.
"I do. But it's the most fun I've had in years," I reply sadly. "I know it's bad."
"At least," he says, wincing, "at least, tell Si."
"I will," I respond gravely. "Soon."
"Good," he says, reassuringly squeezing my shoulder before continuing on.
I'm in some deep shit.

"Hey," Jack chirps, sitting down next to me. "What's up?"
"Nothing much," I answer, shutting off my phone quickly. "How about you?"
"Nothing really," he replies with a smile. Looking around, he adds in a hushed tone, "I see the comments. Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I—I'm fine," I say, double-taking. I was surprised these guys even looked at their notifications. I mean, they have so many of them. Forget even realizing how many people are... talking about me. It's all I've seen since Zach's post. He stopped comments, but they decided to come to my account and keep attacking me.
"If you need anything, I'm here," Jack says, smiling sympathetically.
"Thanks Ramen,But I think I'll do fine," I reply, chuckling a little.
He mutters something else incomprehensible but walks off. Unable to resist, I flip my phone open again.

Tears flood my eyes. This isn't how it's supposed to be.
