Blushing profusely, I turn towards Daniel and Quinn who are standing at the door with smirks on their faces.

"Yeah, Daniel. I mean we should've told them not to do that," Quinn teases. "Gosh guys! Show some restraint."

"I did for months," Jonah says, playing along. But I can't help wonder if there's any truth in the words he says. I mean, we did mess up multiple times.

"When are y'all gonna get together?" Daniel asks, biting into the sandwich he brought. "I mean, Lavender's out of the picture, right?"

"Kinda," Jonah hesitates, "I just said I need time to think."

"Well, then you've clearly—" Quinn starts.

"Can we just not talk about this right now?" I interrupt. "It's just awkward."

"Sure," Quinn says, nodding her head.

"But everyone is for it. Ever since high school," Daniel says with a smile.

"Hey," Kara greets me as I walk into the penthouse.

"I need help," I state, needing counseling immediately. My mind has been racing for hours, and I haven't made any decision about how I want this to go. Do I give in? Do I hold out, knowing that it can't be good to get back into a relationship?

"What happened?" She asks worriedly, holding my hands in hers.

As I explain everything that happened, she nods her head and starts thinking. I can almost believe she's as confused as me with this situation, but of course she isn't. She's Kara Darnell. Everything is under control for her.

"You have to decide," she states as if I haven't already thought of it.

"I know that!" I exclaim. "Of course I do. This will just go downhill if not. But how?"

"Pros and cons!" She says after a second of hesitation. "Say what you like about him and the potential relationship, and what you don't. It'll work out!"

"Okay," I mutter unsurely. I walk over to the table and grab a paper. I start writing pros and cons but can't help feeling guilty. I mean, is it really my place to point out flaws in a person just for the sake of deciding?

Pros:
- attraction
- history
- good-looking
- everyone likes it
- I like it

Cons:
- confusing
- bad publicity
- makes bad choices
- I should be focusing on my career
- the way it ended

"No," I state, looking at the last con. "This can't happen."

"How did it end?" Kara asks, looking at the paper.

As I launch into the story, I can't help but feel tears well up in my eyes. It was the biggest mistake I ever made. I shouldn't have let him go. That was my first mistake. But it would be a mistake to take him back now. Too many things are happening, and I can't deal with this.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH TO WHOEVER WENT AND ACTUALLY VOTED!! I hope you guys enjoyed what you read and will continue to read as I update those stories. To those of you who are pissed that I asked for that to happen: I knew you all would come through. I had no doubt in my mind that you guys wouldn't reach the quota by the time I usually update. I update every week or so, and if even half of you guys went and voted, it would be done in a day. And also, if you like my writing, you would enjoy the other stories, too. After all, I did write them. I always put promos in my stories, but no one ever actually checks the stories out. Which means that if I ask you to check something out, I REALLY WANT you to check it out!! Even if you just read the prologue and decide you don't want to read it all, I still want you to see if you'd like it.

SORRY IT'S SO SHORT!
