Chapter 16: Trio

*Darkrai POV*

"So, you sense it too?"

Cresselia and I were standing in an empty hallway, she had asked to talk to me.

"Yeah, but, who is it? And where are they?" I asked.

"No idea." She said, looking out the window, "But they've got to be pretty strong if Arceus sent them to get you two."

I leaned against the wall.

"Yep, we have to prepare."

"Hey Darkrai?"

"Yeah."

"Please tell me those aren't who I think they are."

"What are you talking about?"

"Look!"

She pointed out the window, and I looked out into the courtyard. I saw three very familiar figures.

"Oh, son of a- Let's get down there."

We walked out of the building and into the courtyard, as they stopped in front of us.

"The regi trio." I said.

"Darkrai." Registeel said, her voice calm as always, "We're taking you with us."

"That's not going to happen." I replied, pulling my sword out.

"Hey Cresselia," Regirock said, "You look beautiful as always.

"Such a creep." Cresselia said, pulling out her bow, "Leave now or I'll kill you myself."

"Cresselia, have you really joined their side?" Regice said.

"I'm protecting my family. I don't care what side that is." She said, preparing an arrow.

"Fine then, we'll take you both by force." Registeel said, as they pulled out their weapons.

Registeel and Regice ran at me, and Regirock charged at Cresselia.

I blocked at incoming stab from Regice, and then slashed at Registeel, who parried the attack. I jumped backwards, and launched a dark pulse at the two, but they just took the attack.

Registeel ran at me, and I slashed sideways. She blocked the attack with her arm, which just took the attack with minimal damage. She shoulder slammed me, sending me flying backwards.

'Damn it! I need help! Where is Y/n?!'

*Third Person POV*

Y/n slammed the bottle back on the counter, as he signaled the bartender for another beer.

He and Mewtwo were in a bar in Atlas, watching a game on the TV and drinking heavily. Mewtwo was drinking slower than Y/n, who was almost completely shitfaced.

"You should really slow down." Mewtwo warned.

"Shhhhhhhhhhut up." Y/n slurred.

Y/n slumped over, his face landing a bowl of assorted nuts. He pushed himself up, and grabbed his new beer, downing it in seconds.

"We're gonna need another beer here." Mewtwo said to the bartender.

*Darkrai POV*

I was smacked across the face by Registeel, and knocked to the ground. Metal pieces came out of the ground and wrapped around me, holding me in place.

Cresselia had also been knocked to the ground, and rocks were holding her in place.

"Hey, let them go!" I heard Yang yell, before coming out of nowhere and trying to punch Registeel.

It didn't do anything, her fist just got stopped by Registeel's face. Registeel hit her in the face and she got launched into a wall.

Jaune tried to attack Regirock with his sword, only to get punched in the stomach. He fell to the ground, clutching his stomach.

Everyone tried to attack them, only to get knocked out and beaten. Except for Neo. I didn't know where she was, but I'm glad she's safe.

"Well then, let's take these two to him." Regice said, before they picked us up and started carrying us somewhere.

*Third Person POV*

Unknown to all of them, Neo had seen the entire fight, and knew what she had to do.

She ran off to find Y/n, having no idea where he is.
