you catching nat's eye during a meeting.
you were new to the avengers, so you were just finding your way around. the team had a meeting for the next mission, and you were invited as well. since you had only arrived today, you had not met all of the team yet.
of course you were late to the meeting, inevitably getting lost in the tower. you shyly walked into the room trying to be as quiet as possible. "y/n, how nice of you to join us on this lovely evening," tony laughed. "sorry, i kinda got lost," you say and rush to your seat. "so as i was saying.." you zoned out totally forgetting that you were listening to extremely important information.
after what felt like an hour, the meeting was almost over. you looked up from your hands and locked eyes with the natasha romanoff. she slightly smirked at you and you smiled back with a light blush on your cheeks. 'i'm really going to like working here,' you thought.
