Chapter 22

~*Leslie Pov*~

Me and David walked out of the court room and I was happy as hell. I won and David was pissed.

I was walking down the court house steps when I got yanked back by David.

   "What do you want David? You a single man now so stop chasing me." I said yanking my arm from him.

   "I know you got that evidence from Mike someway somehow so I couldn't use it against you. Just tell me the truth."

I laughed in his face and walked away. He was right, I did have Mike get rid of all the tapes he had on me by giving him a little punani for a week straight. I got what I wanted out of him then dropped him. I destroyed the documents and tapes he had. If David had that type of shit in court then I would be paying alimony to him.

My driver opened the door to the limousine for me and I slid in. I kicked my heels off as he closed the door and sat back. I pulled out my phone and called De'Asia.

   "Hey mama." She said into the phone loud.

   "Baby you got to answer the phone better than that. You almost bust my ear drum." I said laughing.

   "Where daddy at?"

   "I don't know but we just left court and our divorce is finalized." I said looking out the window

   "I don't see why y'all went that far. All y'all had to do was go to counseling and fix things up."

   "That don't work for everybody De. We just fell out of love and couldn't keep faking it any longer." I said telling half the truth.

   "Well if me and Lu ever get to that point where we think we fallin' out of love then we going to counseling and fixing that shit."

   "Watch yo' mouth De'Asia but did they ever find his little sister?"

   "Yeah like two weeks ago but I forgot to tell you. They raped her and Lu went and killed the dudes that raped her the day after she came home. I'm still mad at him for that." She said and I pictured her rolling her eyes.

   "Well thats yo' fault for messing with a hood nigga. I told you to get you a college boy while you was gone."

   "Bye mama!" She said then I heard a click.

I put my phone down and laughed at my child. She hated when I talked about Lu. I believe he treating her good but she can't get mad at the things he do when she knew what he did from the jump.

Ring Ring

I looked at my phone and saw that Angela was calling.  She knew that I was going to court this morning and she only trying to be nosey. I ignored the call because she ain't getting shit from me.

She would have to kill me before she got even a sniff of my money.

~*Jade Pov*~

   "Go home Drew. I'm mad at you for what you did two weeks ago and you taking up all the room in my closet." I said throwing a high heel that wouldn't fit into my closet at his head.

   "Yo' crazy ass need to chill. Plus if you come live with me then I could be home and you can have more closet space." He said ducking the flying high heel.

I held my hand up with a red heel in it and looked at him. We looked at each other to see what the other was thinking. I laughed at his facial expression and threw the shoe. I picked up another and another after that just throwing them. He got out the bed when one connected with the back of his head and charged at me. I kept throwing them and he tackled me to the floor.
