Y/n's POV:
A tingling sensation spreads through my whole body as we accidentally brush our fingers together while walking along a river towards my favorite bench. Well, maybe more or less accidentally.

It's our third date but nothing has happened till now. I notice how he struggled with himself wether he should make a move or not, quite a few times, deciding against it in fear I wouldn't want it.

It's adorable how caring and gentle he is. I've never met a boy like him nor had dates which didn't let me stop smiling afterwards. In fact... I've never had a date before he asked me out.

Yeah, that also means I never has a boyfriend... nor a first kiss. But he doesn't have to know everything about me, right? I bite the corner of my lips as I avert my eyes to the tall, brown haired boy next to me.

Street lamps that are placed between the trees of this alley, being the only source of light. Illuminating only half of his defined face. My mind drifts off while I begin to admire his muscular figure.

The black skinny jeans, the signature black boots, the white almost see through T-shirt and the black jacket draped over his broad shoulders.

Besides his lovely character, he's undeniably handsome, making me still wonder what he sees in me but what did my mom always say? Never question your luck!

But what if he finds out that I'm totally inexperienced? I mean, he's twenty and I just turned eighteen. Maybe he doesn't like girls like me.

Not that I could change it but a part of me still hopes that I'm not falling too hard before I know how he feels about me.
He makes it hard not to, though.

„What's on your mind, hunny?" Shawn's deep soothing voice sends chills down my spine, making my heart flutter because of the nickname. I could feel myself blushing after I realize how long I've been staring at him and according to his cheeky grin, he noticed aswell.

"Uh.. I-" I stutter, caught off guard from his sudden question. Come on, think! Say anything that doesn't sound too stupid! I could feel the heat in my cheeks even more as his smirk grows wider but then my gaze falls onto the small bag in his left hand.

„Oh, I just thought about wether I eat a donut or a muffin first." I tell him, smiling proudly at my excuse which he responds to with a slight chuckle.

„And I almost believed you were thinking about me." Shawn replies, placing a hand on his heart. A dramatic sigh leaving his lips. "Hm." I giggle, shaking my head. "Sorry to hurt your ego, Mendes but don't tell me you think about me. So why would I?" I joke, crossing my arms as we come to a stop in front of the bench.

„I'm thinking about you, ever since you kicked me in the balls two weeks ago." He sends me a wink, before sitting down and patting the spot next to him. Laughing at the memory, I take a seat but still keep some space between us.

After my and his laughter died down, he reaches towards the bag of sweets and points it at me to let me take something out. I choose a muffin and what a surprise, he grabs one too.

Wordlessly, we sit there for a while but it's a comfortable silence, not awkward at all. "I don't bite, you know." Shawn states, his mesmerizing hazel orbs meeting mine, a sly grin plastered on his plump lips.

„Huh?" I mumble, with my mouth full which makes him laugh lightly. "Come here." He pats the empty space next to him, making me realize what he meant. Blushing once again, I move closer to him.

His alluring scent immediately filling my nose. God, how does he smell so good? I hold a hand over my mouth and turn my head as he doesn't stop to look at me.
