Dress shopping

Katniss POV

I walk put to Effie and we go to the bridal shops. We look at almost every store and I still can't find a dress that I like. So before Effie gives up she takes me to one more store. I look through all the dresses and just when I am about to give up a dress catches my eye. It's strapless, and has a big bow in the back that goes at the very bottom of my back that is a sunset color orange and then has a ribbon that goes around my waist in the front that is the same color orange. It is also covered in little tiny pearls that make it stand out even more. I absolutely love it and I know peeta will too! " Effie i am going to try on this one!" I say as I walk into the dressing room. when I walk out with the dress on Effie looks like some one famous is standing right in front of her or something! she runs over to me and says "katniss you look beautiful. Peeta is a very lucky many. I am so happy for you both!" "thank you effie!" "come on dear let me buy you that dress!" she says and I nod and smile as a thanks. We get the dress and I walk home. I walk in the door ready to find peeta and run to him. But then I remember that he is at haymitch house because Effie said it was bad luck for a couple to see each other their wedding day so that means he can't sleep with me tonight! I hate that because there will be nobody to comfort me when I have a nightmare. I walk over to the kitchen and find a bowl of lamb stew, cheese buns, and a primrose with a note next to it! The note says

Dear My love,

I'm sorry that I won't be here tonight when you go to sleep to comfort you through your nightmares. I wish I could be with you. I know this sounds silly because it's only going to be one night but every second that I'm not with you are the worst possible seconds of my life! I can't wait for our wedding tomorrow. I have been waiting to get married to you since I was five years old. I love you so very much baby. See you soon!

I tear up a little at the note! How could I get so lucky to have a man like him! I love him so much! I eat my dinner and go straight to bed but only sleep for a little bit because I have nightmares and my boy with the bread is not with me!
