I want to engage my sisters in online chat and tell them all these insanity but the President kept accommodating us. He suggested that the dinner, the one he promised Mama they'll be having with us family will be That Meeting. 

Wow. Wala pala talagang meeting pero since andito na kami gawan natin ng meeting yeah.

When I finally have the time to myself, I started an online conversation. (A: Aika; J: Jill; T: Tricia)

T: "Gurls, sobrang awkward dito,"

J: "HAHAHAHAHAHA! Sama sama ka pa kasi,"

T: "Aba di ako papayag na si Mama lang, ngayon na nga lang ulit kami magkikita,"

J: "OA."

T: "Di pa ako tapos. Ngayon lang ulit kami magkikita after 36 hours."

A: "Teh, kamusta naman diyan? Mag-uwi ka foods ha."

T: "Ate, naka-ready na. Nauna pa maghanda ng pasalubong bago yung meeting, I cannot even."

J: "HAHAHAHAHA! Padala ka naman fruits dito sa NY."

T: "Padala mo ung shipping fee."

A: "Sino andyan, si President lang?"

T: "Pati ung Veronica,"

J: "HUH? Eh yung mama?"

T: "Waley."

J: "Haveyyy."

A: "Kamusta yung Veronica?"

T: "Ok naman, mabait. Kanina pa nga ako pinapakain."

J: "CLOSE NA SILA! YIHEEE!"

T: "Puwede ba Jill,"

J: "Kausapin mo, chikahin mo ganyan, Go Ate Patty!"

T: "Feeling ko hesitant din siya because di ako marunong magbisaya."

J: "Turuan niyo ang isa't isa – Bicolano at Bisaya. HAHAHAHAHA!"

T: "Mag-aral ka na nga lang dyan."

A: "Pero in fairness ah, ok siya sa inyo na anjan kayo. I mean hello,"

T: "Anong "I mean hello," ate? PUWEDE BA."

J: "HAHAHAHAHA! Ate Aiks, wag daw si Patty."

A: "Ay oo nga pala, sige Jill, tayo nalang mag-usap. HAHAHAHAHA!"

T: "Ambot."

J: "NAGBIBISAYA NA SIYA! HAHAHAHA!"

A: "Hoy Patricia,"

T: "EWAN KO SA INYO!!"

A: "Kamusta si Mama?"

T: "Nag-uusap sila ni President."

A: "Pakinggan mo,"

T: "Work e, puwede ba I'm mentally tired na to even absorb things."

A: "Kausapin mo si Veronica,"

I looked at Veronica and she's also looking at me but she immediately looked down to her phone.

T: "Gurl, she's looking at me."

J: "HAHAHAHAHA! Baka gusto ka kausapin. Kausapin mo na!"

A: "Creepy ba? Is she pretty in person?"

T: "Oo.."

A: "Kausapin mo na. Make new friends, Patty."

J: "HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

T: "Tama na Jill, ok? Ok am going to try to talk to her.."

J: "Go go go!"

I looked again at her and she's not looking anymore. Maybe she's also busy talking to her friends on her phone. I sat beside her.

"Hello, um. Tapos ka na maglaundry?" Wow Patricia Robredo, what an opening statement.

"OMG." She said and I knew the answer. We laughed.

"Halika, tulungan kita." I weirdly offer. Sabaw narin ata ako because to be honest, I don't want to leave Mama alone with the President but they seem to be discussing serious serious stuff so ano naman gagawin ko.

We went out to her laundry and finished it. We were quiet at first but eventually she told me she likes doing the laundry so much. It is her favorite household chore. She volunteers doing it. I am amused.

"You, what do you do?" She asked me curiously.

"Um, I'm currently doing clerkship sa hospital."

"Wow, para maging Doctor?"

"Yep."

"Wow."

"Ikaw, what do you want to take up in college?"

"I don't know yet." She replied flatly. "But I want to do something that will make me happy." She smiled.

"Oo naman," I smiled back. I envy her simple thinking.

"I want to take care of Papa and Mama."

"Your Mama is a nurse di ba? Asan nga pala siya?"

"US."

I felt like it's a touchy topic based on the change of her reaction so I go no further.

"Do you really wanted to be doctor?"

"Well, yeah."

"Nice. We need more of you."

"What do you mean?"

"Well we need more doctors to cure the sick. Minsan iniisip ko if I'll pursue it or be a lawyer like Papa.."

"Think about it." I offered. "There were tough times in my journey but I thought about what you said – we need more doctors to cure the sick – and it gives me the strength to continue."

"I like you," She looked at me and smiled.

I smiled back.
