i kept staring at the text that lannan had sent to me. what was he on about and why do i have to go to the park.

i went into my room and threw my wardrobe doors open, took off lannan's hoodie and put on a plain white t-shirt and black skinny ripped jeans.

6:17pm

i walked down the stairs to find steph eagerly waiting by the door with a big grin on her face.

"you ready?" she asked

"what's going on?"

"you'll see" she winked.

we walked out to our driveway when i noticed lannan's car was missing from his garage.

as we sat down in the car i asked

"steph, are you gonna tell me what's going on"

she stayed silent. a large grin spreading across her face.

"honestly steph. will i like it?"

"well, hopefully you'll love it" she smiled.
