Chapter 33 - Who I Am, Always

You rolled your eyes and continue to read your new book given by the twins, Dipper and Mabel. You can hear Bill mumbling to himself about something, but you didn't pay much attention to him.

"However I was proven wrong later that day." Dipper's words stopped and below it was a picture of you confronting Gideon in the mirror maze. "I let (Y/N) came with me to the cave because I didn't know what (Y/N) was doing following me, and boy was I glad at that. Turns out (Y/N) was following Gideon back to his house when he got Mabel and I."

"When I was thinking of a way of get out of there, (Y/N) came and got us out of there. (Y/N) even helped us with Gideon! This was so amazing! Sure there was the time when (Y/N) was scary towards Gideon but still! (Y/N) was so cool!" Dipper praised you in the book, you couldn't help but let out a chuckle, then continue to read the rest of the page.

~Time Skip~

You have read a lot of what the twins wrote for you in the book, as well as seeing the photos you never notice being taken. The twins were writing in turns, but if they both have things to write, then they would share the page and write it together.

They were basically writing their thoughts on you each time you have helped them through their problems and troubles, you smiled at that. You were happy with what they thought of you, they didn't think of you as a monster, they thought of you as their friend.

You stopped at the last page that was written, there was both blue and pink coloured pens written on the page. First was pink, Mabel's.

"(Y/N), I just want to say again. Thank you Thank you Thank you so so so very very much! Without you, I don't think my summer would have gone fun so far. You are like an other sister to me. (hope you don't mind me calling you a sister)" you blinked a few times at that. Mabel calling you a sister? That was beyond what you though you are to her. "I hope you would always stay with Dipper and I through out the summer, we enjoyed it."

"P.S. I think Dipper is enjoying it more than I am. (wink wink)" you laughed at what Mabel wrote down. You could see Bill rolling his eye at your sudden laughter, you have been laughing like that when you read through the book.

"And you said I was crazy..." you heard Bill said, annoyed.

"What was that?" you asked.

"Nothing!" Bill shouted. "Just talking to myself, it's not like you are talking to me! You're busy reading you stupid new book!"

You rolled your eyes and looked back down at the book on your lap. Now you're reading Dipper's words to you. "Don't listen to Mabel, she's Mabel... Anyway, I just want to tell you Thank you. I know you heard or seen this two words in the book a lot of times but, we really mean this. We are always in your debt, countless times. We are glad you came to the Mystery Shack when you did."

"P.S. How did you learn all those skills? Your staff, it's so cool! If you have anything you want to tell us, please do. Also can you teach me? Or help me make one? I have so much questions about you." your eyes widen from Dipper's words.

"Oh dear, Pine Tree is asking questions~" Bill's voice cooed in your ear beside you.

You jumped from Bill's sudden comment. "Bill! Don't ever do that!"

Bill chuckled and floated in front of you, sitting down beside you. "Why ever not? I enjoyed it."

"Well I did not." you spitted out and closed the book, placing it on the nightstand. Your eyes not leaving the book.

"You know this is not good." Bill said.

You turned your head to look at him. "How so."

"Pine Tree is asking questions about you, your skills and all." Bill said looking at the flame dancing on his right hand. "I mean you know as well as I do, no normal person would have that type of skills. Or even carry around that sort of weapon."

You took out your staff and stared at it.

"Face it (Y/N), sooner or later they will know who you are." Bill stated as his blue flame extinguishes in his hand and looked dead into your (eye colour) eyes.

"I know they will know sooner of later, I can't control that. But I can control how they know. One important thing I can't control is how they would think of me afterwards." you said unemotionally, your fingers clicked the switch and the blade came out.

Bill barely dodged the suddenness of the blade by float backwards off the bed. "Hey! Watch where you-"

"No matter what, I am who I am. I can't change that fact, I will always be an assassin. I will always have my dark times, but I will not let that fact chain me up. I do as I please, no one can control me," you said as you stood up, both hands holding the scythe, your eyes looking straight into Bill's. "Not even a demon."

*Bill's POV*

I stared at (Y/N), holding her scythe and saying that speech of her life. Once finished, my smirk grew. I knew (Y/N) was going to be an interesting human! Way more interesting than that dumb old six fingered nerd.

(Y/N), you are one hell of a human.

You never seize to amaze me, interest me.

I can't help but feel drawn to (Y/N), (Y/N) is like none other human I have met or seen. (Y/N) is special, that I can be 10000000000000000% sure of.

I wanted to laugh out loud so badly, but I can't I wanted to respect (Y/N)'s moment for now. If and when Pine Tree and Shooting Star knows of (Y/N)'s dark secret and doesn't approve of that secret, I would be there to comfort my dear sweet (Y/N).

(Y/N) would join my side and the Pines would regret how they have mistreated my dear Ice Queen. My (Y/N).

*Back to normal*

You noticed how Bill was smirking at you, you figured Bill was just being Bill. So you put away your blade and shrank the staff to hide it.

It seems like Bill was in his own world, "I didn't know dream demon do daydreaming..."

You ignore Bill and walked past him, going down the stairs, or at least that's what you intend to do. As soon as you were by Bill's side, he grabbed your wrist and hugged you from behind. His head resting on your head and his hands hugging your waist.

"Bill?" you asked without turning your head.

"You truly are one interesting human." he said in your ear.

You rolled your eyes and said, "And you are the craziest dream demon I have ever met."

"Please," Bill laughed. "I'm the only demon you ever met."

"True."

The two of you stayed in that position for a while before you broke the silent.

"Can you let go now?"

"Why ever would I do that?"

"First, don't answer my question with another question and second," you said then letting out a little bloodlust. "If you don't let go I'll make you let go."

"I would love to see that, But," Bill said and lifted his head. "That would have to wait. I guess."

Bill lets go of you and steps back, you turned around to see the demon. He was now slightly bowing to you with a hand stretched out to you, like he wanted you to give him your hand.

"If you want to make a deal, forget it." you said unamused.

Bill nervously laughed, "No not a deal this time."

"Okay... that's unusual." you statement without thinking.

"It was to my knowledge that there would be a fair for tomorrow, there would be a concert by a love god. Would you want to go with me?"

"A fair that has an actual god of love..." you said like you were thinking. "Sure I'll go with you."

Bill's smile immediately grew.

"But you can't be here physically though. How will you go to the fair with me?"

"You'll see..."
