I'm twenty four years old and Reggie is crashing on my couch. He's out of college, just like I am, but he hasn't figured out what to do with his business major and his master's degree. And apparently he doesn't want to go back to his parents house and he doesn't want to look for apartments.

I don't mind. It's fun having the company. I haven't had anything serious with a girl since Quinn, just casual dates here and there but nothing that stuck, so aside from going out with Claire for brunch, my social life is very non existent.

And Reggie does not accept that.

I go out with him, but unlike him I have a job. I can't party all the time.

I'm a crime scene investigator now. And I'm new so I can't fuck up. Being a CSI sounds a lot cooler than it is. The TV shows make it seem a lot cooler than it is. I mean, it is kind of cool, but it's also a lot of paper work and a lot of desk work and a lot of long boring period of times.

Still, I wouldn't trade my job for the world.

Eventually, Reggie finds his own place. My apartment feels empty without him. But that's okay. I can manage feeling lonely. I've always been lonely.
