I and Omar got back home just in time and I was excited to be back.

"Hello son" mother said excitedly  pulling  me into a hug and helping me with my bags inside.

"it'sso good to be back home, where is dad"i asked.

"He went for an out of town meeting, he would b e back next week" she said urshering me inside. "Susan, please take care of Omar"she said helping me give Omar to the nanny at home.

"how have you been and what would you like to eat. We made your favourite" she smiled.

"I have been good mother, I think I need to rest" I said standing and heading to my room when I heard mother speak  again

"Why did you bring that child with you" she asked and I looked back at her. She had always loved rianat but when she found out all that had happened she disliked her so much.

"He is my son too" I said

"We both know he isn't,you should have just dropped him with his useless mother" she said irritated

"Mother, let's not have this talk right now,I need to rest for sometime"I said walking inside.

I decided to take a walk around the neighborhood, so many things had changed and it wasn't the same,Apart from the silence though.

I saw someone that looked like rashid or maybe it was rashid. I called out the name but the person looked back and ran.I wondered why rashid would want to run from me then I remembered what rianat had told me.I caught up with him later.

" long time no see rashid"I said panting heavily as I held him by his cloths then I punched him hard.

"What was that for, man" he said looking at me with guilt written all over his face.

"You know what that was for,you a** hole"

"Why did you trick zeenat and I y
and you better not tell lies"I said still holding on tightly to his shirt.

" alright man chill"he said trying to remove my hand from his chest.I finally agreed

"It was your mother, she had it all planned out"

"You should never use my mother's name to lie you, I said hitting him again"

"Then ask her since you trust her so much" I walked back home thinking about all what rashid had said to me and I really didn't want to believe that my mum would do such a thing.

   Zeenat

This past few days have been really good. I and Usman had gotten even more closer and I really couldn't ignore the fact that I was beginning to feel something for him.

I entered the house after a long day of work. Usman had volunteered to help pick up Layla since he was going to be stopping to pick his nephew and I couldn't be more grateful since I had a lot of resting to do. Mother had also gone to her friend so it was just going to be me at home till mother came so I decided to sleep for sometime but as I was just starting to sleep, I heard a knock on the door and I reluctantly got up from bed to go open the door.

I opened the door and realized it was Usman just dropping Layla off.

"Hey, thank you so much for helping me with layla" I said letting him in with Layla and Khalid.

"I am glad i could help" he smiled.

"I got this for you" he said handing out the bouquet and chocolate he brought out from his back.

"Wow, thank you" I said smiling looking at the side as Khalid and Layla giggled at the gesture.

"They are lovely, thank you" I said putting them on the table and then I realized something.

"Are you the one that has been sending those flowers to me at the office" I asked curiously with a smile.

"You can say so" Usman said rubbing the back of his neck in a guilty way and then I just smiled.

"I had no idea" I said

"I decided to give this one physically" he said.

" that's nice of you"

"I should leave now, I will call you" he said going towards the door out.

"Thank you again for helping me with layla" I said before he left.

I moved towards were I had dropped the Roses. I picked them up inhaling the nice scent and I just smiled like a teenager that was love struck. The feeling was nice but somewhere deep inside of me, I was scared. Scared of the unknown.

I looked around for a vase to keep them in it. I wasn't throwing this away like I did to the rest.
