chapter 5

MARIYA POV

When the chauffeur dropped us off at Lorenzo's house the guardsman got out safely inside. A gasp left my lips when I saw how huge his fucking place was, and it was only just three of them. Why did he need all this space? Well he's a billion shouldn't have expected nothing less.

My eyes wondered his house and I must say that man's got taste. I placed Amelia down in her baby bouncer and she started moving around while making crying sounds. I was about to pick her up when she quiet down. Mia pulled her hand away from mines then ran up the stairs. I was wondering where she went but then I saw her coming back downstairs with her doll in her arms. I sat down on the couch then slowly began to observe his environment.

My thoughts were interrupted when Mia tapped me on the leg. "Do you feel tired?" I asked as she yawned while rubbing her eyes.

"No... dada not here to give me a bath" she said with her head tilted to the side and a small smile on her face. I sighed then looked around for a bit.

Does she really not have a mommy, where is she?

"Where is Mommy?" I asked and she gave me a sad pout but that little expression changed quickly. It was if she was planning something in her little head. I looked at her confused, waiting for her to answer.

"Don't ave a momma" she said while playing with her doll.

"Oh that's sad" I whispered
and she climbed on top of me and wrapped her tiny hands around my neck and snuggled she into me. Melia started wailing around so Mia sat back down on the couch while I picked up a sleeping Amelia. She quiet down and opened her eyes.

Holy shit... she really doesn't have a mommy, so that means Lorenzo is a single dad. I wonder what he did to get right here. Did he break her heart just like he did mine?

"Time to have a bath" I said to Mia, she nodded and I followed her upstairs with melia in my arms. I walked into the bathroom and gasped once again. I place melia down on the mat that I assumed was hers and she started pumping her legs while smiling and trying to reach for the toys dangling above her head. I awed then turned around to see mia in the tub already I walked over to her and she smiled.

"Do you wanna bwid a showman" Mia started to sing frozen song and I chuckled, she started splashing the water all over the place and played with her toys into the water I stood up and took her out of the water then dried her off. I wrapped a towel around and told her to sit down. I set some warm water for Amelia then picked her up and took off her clothes and placed her in the tub.

"Do you like the water princess?" I cooed as she began splashing the water on my already damped clothes. "All done" I said as I took her out of the water. Amelia planked her finger into her mouth then began chewing on it. "Mia lead the way" I said and she nodded then walked right out I the bathroom. I followed her all the way to Amelia's changing room, where I placed her down on the changing table. Mia helped me pick out a few things and I got the baby dressed.
