CHAPTER 7

"Hey, young lady!!!!" Mr. Caesar smiled charmingly at Vanessa. But she was way too busy frowning and trying to find out the secret behind my saddened expression.

"Can I talk to you for a minute"? Mr. Caesar excused himself with Vanessa. Who was debate a while with herself to leave me with Alessandro or not? But with little please by Mr. Caesar; she left with him but not too far ...just a distance from where she can keep her eye on me.

I can see they were arguing and Vanessa had her hand on her forehead and she was all animations and was talking with her hands.

I can feel another pair of eyes on me I know he is staring straight at me. But I don't have the courage to look at him.

"Jas, hellooo... " Van was waving her hand in front of my face. Not again.

"Yes". It still hurts my throat feels like I have a stone in them.

"Let's go home". Vanessa and I left the parking lot. I can hear Mr. Carter and Alessandro arguing. My head hurts a lot. Thanks to Vanessa she didn't talk at all. But that's quite weird, usually, it's she didn't give up, asking me if I am sulking expression. After we reach home, she cooked Mac and cheese. And I was gone for my sweet slumber with her by my side; she is making this as a habit.

"Jas, wake up". She was shaking me without failing. Ahhhaaaaa.....

"Leave me alone, I want to sleep". I was digging more into my blanket, soft blanket, warm and fluffy, my blanket...

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" I was shouting at Vanessa's careless face that was just holding my blanket in one hand and was checking her nails manicure. That rat just took my warm blanket.

"FOR HEAVEN SAKE TODAY IS SATURDAY!!!! " I was pouting. "I wanna sleep, the only love of my life my blanket, give it back". I kept cuddling into the fetal position, to secure some warmth.

"Your cat is more, enthusiast than you. And not to mention, you score more on sleeping hours than chip". Chip is my cute little cat. I adopted it after my parents decided again to leave me alone here for months.

"And we have to go shopping so get up". Shopping... hmmm... okay that good new shoe, new Jean.... that made me sit up.

"Hey, I just recently brought a whole new wardrobe, why I need more clothes. And can wear them for....."

"Yeah, yeah and blah blah blah " she really does look like a cartoon. " You only have jeans, blouse.... we need something provocative".

"Provocative". That word sounds foreign to me. But... "for what.... please tell me you didn't set me up for a blind date, you know I hate that thing". I was on my knees begging her.

She was smirking now; something is really fishy "Did I ever force you to wear anything provocative for a date". I shake my head no. She throws her hand up in the air "hell! Even for the party, I dragged your ass with those gross jeans, right!!!! So when I say you need to wear it, you should!!!!"

Hmm...... I open my mouth to ask for what .but she started to speak again.

"Look you are going to Alessandro's house tomorrow, so we need to go shopping and buy you the most beautiful dress and show off that sexy body of yours. He needs to see what you hide behind those jeans and baggy clothes. "

I was sweating and shaking a bit. She immediately came near and hugged me.

"Hey Jas, I know you fear him. What happened yesterday?"

I told her everything, except that part where he tried to choke me to death. She will do something stupid that's for sure. Those bruises which formed because of choking were fading from yesterday. I got successful to hide it under my jacket. I don't know what she will be doing if she knows about those. Her confronting Alessandro is the last thing I want to happen.

She turns around and sat in front of me in India style like me. And then she pointed a finger at me.

"He threatened you, right!?" I nodded my head. "You know his dad, he is kind of want to teach him a lesson. He asked me to help him. And it looks like, he can actually do with an act of spicy revenge". She was grinning. I don't like this at all.

"So, the revenge is you will be all sexy and teasing. So he will come pining over you and then you will leave him just like that."

Laughter, that's what blast out of my chest. I was laughing like a mad lady. She is so hilarious damn. I can't breathe. Easy ... easy...

"Sexy me!?" I was breathing hard bcz of laughing. Still, I was trying to talk. "Look, Charlotte is the most beautiful girl in our school and he hit her. I don't think so, any girl can turn him on or he will ever ... like EVER... it's impossible and ..." And again I fall into a fit of laughter, tears were falling down from my face "I can never turn him on, he hates my guts".

I stopped laughing because I got a flashback of Alessandro's fearful stare.

"See, you got traumatized because of his behavior, you need to overcome this and face him brave and bold. We really need to take revenge for all the girls whom he thinks are nothing but garbage".

"I don't like this idea, he will kill me". I was biting my nails when Van hit my hand and hugged me.

"You don't need to worry, me and Mac had a good plan and he won't kill you, I promise". She smiled at me.

"Mac will be at home, you don't need to be alone with that nerd and just pull out your inner women and show him what he is missing out in his world of books."

I'm not going to do anything like that. I can't ....hell but I have to ask her something that I'm thinking for a while. "You have a thing for Mr. Caesar, didn't you!? You are calling him Mac".

She was blushing. God, he is so much older than her. I mean from all of us.

"Shut up! Nothing like that ok!!! It's just that he looks so good at this age. Nothing else". She was still blushing. I give her a pointed look. "Fine! I have a tiny crush on him. But I will never go for a man with ..." she holds her both hands either side stretched to show the gap. "This much age difference."

She covered up quickly "Come on! We need to find a sexy dress for you. He will be begging on his knees for your attention." she looked like a soldier on a mission. But I made up my mind, I will not do anything provocative but I don't have the heart to upset Vanessa. She is the only one who cares for me. So, I will just try to play along without dying I guess.
