So it was the night of the diamond ball, I was pretty nervous becuase I didn't know what dress to wear. I was going to wear Versace tonight. Donatella gave me some options to wear.
I obviously already picked a dress and I couldn't wait to wear it for tonight.
Graci and Bernice had helped me pick a dress, but after that they had to leave.
I heard a knock on the door and it was my makeup artist Ariel and Tokyo my hair stylist.
"Cmon in guys meet me in my glam room"
They both walked in and took the elevator becuase they had all their equipment with them.
"Sure we will be upstairs setting up" Tokyo said
I nodded
I had to make a quick little phone call because my dad had seen the photos and he told me to call him. I was scared, I sighed and took a deep breath before going on my call log and ringing him.

"Damn pick up al—"
"Hello" he answered
Shit.
"Hey paps how you doin" I said nervously
"I'm doing good sweetie but I just wanted to ask you about something I seen on the internet"
Oh shit here it is..
"Dad I can explain about those pictures of me in the club" I said getting to the point
"Oh not those photos lani your 23 ur a grown women now, and I need to meet that young man laniyah."
Phewwww
"Yeah sure dad, why don't you come during the week I'll prepare some dinner and you can meet him" I said
"Ok sure, but I was going to talk to you about your.. sisters laniyah" he said
My heart skipped a beat.
"Dad.. I don't know my sisters I don't think—"
"Lani you need to talk to your sisters that's ur family" he interrupted me
"Well where were my sisters when I needed them, graci and Bernice are my only 2 sisters."
"Lani" he said
"Fine dad. I have to go now we will talk about this later" I said
"Yeh sure, kiddo your birthday is coming up" he said excited
"Dad you seem more excited than I am for my own birthday" I said laughing
"Yes my little girl is growing up" he said
"Anyways I'll see you tonight at the diamond ball."
"Ok bye dad love you see you later" I said
"Cya kiddo. Love you more" he said as the line ended
I smiled and ran up the stairs going into my glam room seeing that they were ready for me.
