Aiden Easton was just another agent within S.H.I.E.L.D's files, but he was a good agent. He knew how to get the job done without being recognized, staying off the radar. Aiden was only on Fury's radar.

When he and Natasha Romanoff are paired on a mission for an dealer in Brazil and something goes wrong, Aiden saves both their lives. Then is noticed by the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D and earned respect from Romanoff. Fury has paired the two for missions nearly every time, and that leaves room for the agents to get to know each other.

Before either of them knows it, Aiden is falling in love and fast, despite that Natasha tries to avoid for as long as possible. But no matter what, that cheesy line Hey Mama gets her every time.

Only balancing a career where love can get you killed and developing feelings is a recipe for disaster. Aiden is not having it.
