Elijah Alterman was raised on family tradition, even in such a modern time. The one he despised most of all, the one that said he could not have any relationship with someone who was not Jewish like his family. Elijah absolutely hated it, and often wondered how his life would and how many relationships he could've had if that wasn't the family tradition. However, he'd throw every relationship away if it meant he kept his family.

Then he met Amy Santiago, the gorgeous and perfectionist of a detective. Elijah was completely enamored since the moment he met her. Everything just seemed so right with her, so when things started being romantic and intimate, he hid her away from his family. Elijah didn't want to ruin this good thing he had. But his family was ready to meet the woman who made him so happy.

But Elijah wasn't sure if he was ready to face the wrath of breaking family traditions.
